This is great when you're in store and need to look something up quickly! I wouldn't use the app for the boards or swapping so this is perfect!

I love it!! I have preiviosly searched the app store for this app but was never successful. I was chuffed to find it and be able to get to reviews in a flash. Excellent thank you:-) X
I like it
I love the site (for anyone unfamiliar with it-its basically a cosmetics review site) and have been looking forward to the possibility of an app. It's a pretty simple layout, type in the product and the reviews appear! It works, it's fast & it's simple. Its also free, so it can't hurt to give it a go!

Need to be updated with more features
As previous review. This app only gives you product reviews! Needs to be more like the web version. Should have the swap option and the option to sign in to your account. Come on Make Up Alley if you do this more people will get the app as it will be more useful. All my friends use MUA for swapping! So this is a must!

Calm down guys!
If you want to go on the message boards and add your reviews, go ahead and use the browser. This app is helpful when you're in Rite Aid trying to figure out if you should buy that mascara or not. They'll probably add the rest in time, but ehhh whatever. I would like to be able to search by barcode though.

Good start, but needs improvement
I'm glad they finally made an app, but the tons of room for improvement. First, you should be able to login and submit a reviews products. Secondly, the app should be able to access your mail and all the boards. Also, you should be able to view user submitted photos of products.

Very easy to search for a product. Very effective filters. Can't shop without this app.
The wait is over!
I was really excited about this app. It's great and searching for product reviews. Is quite snappy. I do think it still has a lot of room for improvement though. I wish it had a barcode scanner and I wish I had the ability to add reviews through the app. It would also be great to thumb up or down reviews like on the site.

Fantastic start!
Smartphone users have been asking for an MUA app for ages and our wish has been granted. This app improves the on-the-go functionality of the site by allowing easy access to reviews while you shop. Add board access and this app will get 5 stars!
Not great
I love Makeupalley and their online product review section is invaluable. Why then, they have chosen this format for their first app is puzzling. The website format is much more straightforward and user friendly than the app format and having the keypad in the way rather than just scrolling through products is frustrating. A barcode scan facility would be really useful too.
