I love this thing
It does exactly what it says on the tin and in a rather graceful and nice way. The developer does nice little tweaks on it from time to time, which is great cos it stays current with iOS changes or with bright ideas the dev’s had (eg differentiating the solver vs. anagram screens with a border - minor, but a real quality of life improvement for the users!) so you know it’s still being looked after, not just lying fallow.

Good job all round, essential toy for annoyed crossword fans!

Crossword help
This is without doubt the best crossword assistant that I have found in the App Store. I have tried several but always returned to this App.
Further, I am very impressed with the developer who is very responsive to any bug or concern. I had a problem with IOS 13 and dark mode preventing type showing on the screen. I raised this issue with the developer and received a very speedy response and a work around. I notice that within a very short period of time the problem corrected. Well done and thank you. Wonderful app
I’ve used this app for many years to help with my crossword solving. It has been an invaluable tool. Had a mild panic when the latest iOS update impeded functionality by leaving the word box blank. Update has now fixed my problem (dark mode). Many thanks, can breathe easily again.

Excellent app that I use a lot for my daily crosswords. Anagram helper is particularly useful.

Excellent...just one thing...
Terrific app, Richard. Just the thing for when my brain finally gives up. Particularly like the multiple word phrases that can solve (n,m)-type answers. Would just like a way to add new words or phrases it doesn't have but do come up in crosswords.
I couldn’t agree more with the above that came up when I tapped on “write a review”. The inability to have user-added words that aren’t already in the app’s word list is so frustrating. Please add this function so I can add the extra “star” to my rating. Thanks in advance.

REVIEW OF APP 7-2-19
Was much quicker without freeze frames so often plus sometimes we’re over run with adds.

Overall I’m afraid app is slipping and isn’t as enjoyable as it once was.

A very, very good Ap. essential for lovers of X words and a great cheat for Scrabble fans. Worth every penny!
