Loved this game as a kid so I had to buy it
Now with that said what a stupid idea to have a reset button at the beginning of the stage without saying what it is before you give the thumbs up to start everything over again. Why would that even be there in the 1st place. I won’t ever change my 1 star but I will play the game now that I’ve bought it and again, awesome that this was remake but why not make that a save place instead of a erase button, silly and idiotic.

I really want to like this
I really want to like this game, but the controls leave a lot to be desired. The sensitivity of the boys movement is sluggish. And without iPhone X support, if your finger slips off the playable screen, which it does for me on a regular basis, you lose control of the boy. I love the visual nostalgia of the game and I really hope that the developers can make these tweaks.

I rate ONE star for this game... I can’t even steer!!! I try to get to the ladder but I keep on walking past it and i can’t go back or I go to the ladder that goes up and can’t get back down. I wish you would make it better👎🤞

Controls are terrible!
I tried playing this for ten minutes and couldn’t get the boy to move, at least not reliably. It was ridiculous. I tried my finger and my stylus; I made sure my screen was clean, I tried changing the controls...I loved the original version, but if I can’t even move the boy past the first jump, there’s no point in keeping this one.

Need tutorial for controls!
I loved the original NES version, and this brought all that nostalgia. But I’m stuck. There needs to be a real tutorial that explains how to work this on the iPad -how to move the boy, jump, to drop a bean, to throw a bean, to combine them all.
