Why is there not controller support? The touchscreen controls are awful. Please add mfi controller support!

I have an iPad 12 and maybe this game was not designed for an iPad.
Cannot get the interface to work at all.
It is kind of a shame since the game looked like it would be fun.
My opinion is that you should not buy unless you just want to throw away $5.

Maybe on the iPad but not the phone. Audio problem and hard to control. No save
I want a refund
I downloaded the game today, but cannot figure out the controls on my ipad or my iPhone. There is no tutorial and I cannot find any instructions online. I’ve deleted the app and I want a refund of my $4.99
No gamepad support.
Why on earth is there no gamepad support for this console game?
Um, no? I can’t get the controls(fingers, stylis, praying) to work
For a few seconds we could get him to jump and kind of move. I switched to a stylus thought I had a home run and then nothing.
The game looks like fun and we got it to play with the grand kids. NONE of us can get it to work well. I have one more adult gamer that I will ask after work to see if THEY can make it work on the IPad. If not...this may be the only game I will try and get a refund for.

Too hard?
Doesn’t seem like a hard game itself, but the control of the boy is terrible! How frustrating... Been “playing” for 10 minutes now and can’t even get the boy to jump over to the next section to keep going. Haven’t done or found anything yet. I just wasted $5... :(
Charming ! But No Gamepad.
This game is a treasure of my youth on the NES. It is one of the first deep, puzzling games I took the time to learn and finish. I was so proud, I finished it 5 more times and memorized it. The presentation here looks fittingly modern, while capturing a boyish charm that should make parents of young gamers happy today.
I am disappointed, however, to not see MFi controller support listed. As an Over the Road Professional Truck Driver, I use my iPad with MFi Gamepad as a portable console, and also play on my iPhone 4S. I am concerned the game may be too modern to play on my iPhone 4S, so the purchase price may be a failed investment for me, but I still wanted to show my support. I also hope you will consider bringing us Double Dragon NEON. That game was an absolute childhood favorite of my friends and I and the NEON styling is nostalgia overload for 80s movie fans. Also, as a retro enthusiast on Youtube, I notice DD Neon has been well received by the community, so I would love to play it on my iPad with MFi.

Fantastic tribute to a classic game
I have fond memories of the original boy and his blob so when I saw this I had to give it a try and I’ve not been disappointed. It captures the original feel and game play mechanics while embracing modern graphics and game options.
I’m seven levels in and the challenge rating has been progressing with each level without ever feeling too harsh.
A must for any Boy and his Blob fans and strongly recommended for everyone else.
