  • Bad App

Both my wife and I read the e-edition on different I-pads at the same time. My paper goes screwy and cuts my access off and directs my iPad to another page with all sots of choices none which allow me access to the e-edition. Compared to the Orlando Sentinel, the Florida Today is way behind on e-edition presentation. Please offer me a solution so that we can both read the FL Today at the same time. Thanks. Bill Vinson

  • Lacks support for Dynamic Type

The only news services I use that do not support Dynamic Type are Florida Today and USA Today. These publications offer only the Zoom feature for accessibility enhancements to visually impaired. I won’t describe Zoom as better than nothing because it actually makes reading more difficult. Apple has provided extensive Accessibility functions and numerous national news services and apps are compatible with Dynamic Type. As my vision inevitably degrades I will find myself, someday, unable to read. In the meantime, I can only hope that Florida Today and USA Today will increase their accessibility through the use of Dynamic Type.

“Apps that support Dynamic Type will adjust to your preferred reading size above.”

  • Fix the latest Update!

Florida Today unilaterally increased the subscription price and automatically charged my card.

Florida Today lost my credit card information and called twice to obtain it again. They lost/misplaced my credit card information and I no longer have a subscription after 35 years of having one.

Previously I was paying by check. My checks were stolen/misapplied by Florida Today Billing Department. Florida Today was notified and no action was taken regarding the multiple stolen checks. Stolen by Florida Today Billing Clerk.

Florida Today Billing is a scam organization. They are incompetent.

Florida Today: LISTEN. HAND PAYMENTS TO APPLE. FIRE YOUR BILLING DEPARTMENT. THEY ARE INCOMPETENT.

  • Too many pop up ads and bugs

When using the App on my iPhone there are pop up ads that are very distracting. Also often when you pinch to zoom it will wig out and go back to page one. Or a pop up ad will stay up for 10 seconds. No way to X it out! Florida Today should look at how the Orlando Sentinel App works! No pop up Ads and it never wigs out while zooming. Btw, I read the version that looks like the actual paper for both the florida Today and the sentinel.

  • What Happened

I find this app extremely difficult to use. Don’t understand how to navigate. Too many decisions to make.
  • Unreliable

The enewspaper is not always available making it unreliable whether or not you can actually "read the paper". When it is not, which is too frequently, you have to pick and choose through articles that are in the paper and those that do not require subscription. I pay for a subscription, for that now higher cost I expect to be able to read the paper when I use the app.

  • Too expensive and biased

Where are the college football scores? There is a group titled CFB but no recognizable colleges. What happened to the NCAA category??? Also, The subscription rate for specials is good but when it expires, the rates go up quite a bit. But the worst part is that they go up a few times a year. It’s also becoming a liberal leaning paper. It’s a news company—just give the news (and all of it) without a slant.

  • Can’t access e-newspaper in USA after returning from Spain

When in Spain last month I was unable to access the Florida Today e-newspaper on my iPhone or iPad, ok, understandable I guess, although I was able to access it my first day there. (I also was able to access the e-newspaper in Italy in May.)
But now that I’m back home in the USA, I still can’t access my e-newspaper on my iPhone or iPad. I have turned them off, back on, deleted the app and reinstalled it, reset network settings, all to no avail. Even requested support from Apple, nothing helped. Why do my iPhone and iPad think I’m still outside the USA?
