  • Will not recognize that my phone is paired

I’ve tried every conceivable way to pair this app on an iPhone X with my 2019 FTR 1200S, and it will not recognize the bike in the app. I can pair the bike with my phone, calls and texts show up on my gauge screen while I’m riding, and it even shows a little phone with status bars on my bike’s screen at startup! Still, the app says “pair with your bike to see vehicle data”. My motorcycle will not talk to this app. I guess I’ll wait for an update and try again then. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I am sorry to hear that you are having issues syncing with your vehicle. Please make sure that the firmware on the vehicle's display is up to date, you can verify/download display updates at the Ride Command website. Also, try connecting to the vehicle over Bluetooth with the app closed, and then open the app with the vehicle already connected. This has worked for some users. In the meantime, we are working on an app update that contains some Bluetooth changes that should resolve some of the issues you are experiencing. Please reach out to us at ridecommand-support@polaris.com if you have any questions
  • Does not recognize bike

Will not connect to bike even though I’m connected to bike via Bluetooth.
Just get message not able to find bike, connect to Bluetooth
  • Latest update

With the recent update I have downloaded, this app has become a fantastic compliment to the Ride Command. I have always loved what the app can do and now it works seamlessly with Ride command on the bike. The ability to plan off bike is fantastic! I can now plan the night before and simply transfer via Bluetooth to the bike. Spot on Indian, a great piece of work.

Thank you for the feedback. There are a few users who are experiencing issues connecting to the display over Bluetooth. We have a fix for this coming out in our next release that should resolve the problem for most users. Please also make sure that the display firmware is up to date. Please reach out to us at ridecommand-support@polaris.com if you have any additional questions.
  • Don’t waste your time

What seems like a simple procedure is not. I had a simple question about login/password compatibility and after 3 weeks and poor response from Indian, they still couldn’t find an answer. All they could do is blame it on the app which they don’t own or understand how to use. There are other options.
  • Great App

Indian has done well upgrading this app! You can now log into Ride Command on your computer, and plot out a route. Then Bluetooth the route directly to the bike! This works very well. Make sure you update the latest firmware on the bike, and add the app to your phone. It works well syncing to your iPhone! Also, add many way points to take the roads you want to ride on, so the navigation software doesn’t vary from your route! I entered several planned routes with many way points and they all take the roads I entered. Thank you Indian for finally getting this right!

  • Disappointed

Would be a great idea if it actually worked
  • But why

Does not seem to record your rides. The screen does not follow you. Your trip goes off the screen and it does not self centre
  • Still useless

App crashed several times on first attempt to use. Interesting that the "tutorial" gives no information on how to create a route. Inability to search for places to add into the route makes it so difficult to use... Searching by dragging the map around and trying to zoom in and out without adding unwanted points is awful. I would have thought that given this is a supporting app for people that spent $30k plus on a motorcycle, it would so much more useful.

  • Why only for America?

You guys need to make versions of this for other country's, I would like to see Australian maps
