  • Waste of time.

The phrase is apt, ‘you get nothing for free’. The app never worked always directed to the advert for the paid version and locked. Absolutely useless.
  • Useless

Dont bother with this. Ad appears after 30 seconds and cant be closed. A click on the ad takes you to an error message on the app store.
  • DON’T BOTHER

Fails to start, wanting to download the database, then … nothing on iPhone 8+
  • Worst APP yet

Downloaded the free version only to find a waste of time as each time you click on the app it directs you to pay for the full version. Why offer free apps if you have zero intention to offer anything.
  • Can anyone help me get the full Version of this

Can anyone help me get the full version of this please
As it’s not working for me ?

    Developer Response

The full version has been temporarily removed from sale, it is planned to return this to the appstore once several updates have been finished. Senet Mobile UK
  • Seemed good

Shows the purchase full version screen too frequently and when you try an error comes up can’t connect to App Store. Tried looking for full version in App Store but can’t find it. Use the link in the description and still can’t connect to App Store. They don’t seem to want to sell the full version!!!

  • Great starter app

For a free app it works really well and has most of the fairly common fish in it such as bass, sole and whiting. Installing the database when it first starts is pretty easy to do as well.
  • Shocker

Doesn't work and instantly asks you to upgrade. Lite version Should be deleted from iTunes
  • Poor

The app doesn't run smoothly and presentation of the info is amateurish and has the feel of an app pulled together in an afternoon
  • Good starter pack

First off – why are some people complaining?

This app is supplied by an enterprise who want to make money, hence they put out a free taster to introduce their app. I’m sure that if it were you, you’d follow the same route, so why complain at having to spend less than £3 to get the much more comprehensive full version. A one off cost of £3 against the cost of your gear and cost to go fishing… You can spend more than that in a single hang up on a mid-channel wreck! Further, if you think this is a misdirecting rip-off, perhaps you should write your own app? It will cost you more by the way, but like some of the app writers selling in the store; you’d gain a new hobby… and possibly make some money.

I too wanted more, so within a few minutes I bought the full version.

This version is very basic, but accepting that, it has some of the more common catches here in the UK. There are missing species such as Bass, Sole, Whiting, etc., but as I said this is a tantaliser. For someone going fishing for the first season, the chances are you’ll catch something not on the list, but then you’re likely to be in the vicinity of someone who knows what it is. I’m at a stage where I’ll go fishing on my tod, then immediately get paranoid that I’m the only one there and I’m not catching anything. What do others know that I don’t? This app is ideal for someone like me; I catch a Black Bream and think I’ve found a stunted Bass. How far from Sellafield outlets am I? As for flat fish, they all look the same!

Hence, I’d recommend this for a free outline. If you’re more serious about your fishing – get the full version. If you’re very serious, get lots of books and learn even more.
