  • Needs improvement

This is an app okay if you want to study all 700 words in the beginners level at once. That is impossible at discouraging. We need to be able to work on a smaller group of words repeatedly. Say like 10-20 words specific words. Not 10/20 of 700. Once the app implements that I will give it a 5 star.
  • Quick Reviews

I use this app to review JLPT vocab I already know and to easily learn and review words I don't know. The interface is simple and easy to use. The audio doesn't sound robotic, which came be very distracting for me.
  • Great app

This app has just the right amount of questions and it is easy to do quick study sessions on the train, or when you have a little break. The vocabulary is vocalized which is a great help. Great for picking up your vocabulary.
  • Useful and fairly easy to use

Great app for practising and learning some basic Japanese vocabulary!
  • Excellent

I'm an advanced student of Japanese. This app is very helpful to me. You won't find any other apps that so well combine native audio pronunciation with the corresponding kanji/kana. If you own an iPhone and are learning Japanese, get this app now.
  • Good for practice

Am doing n5 vocab to start with. Can spent short periods of time revising. An enjoyable way of learning
  • Could be better

Simplistic and cheap quite useful though instead of simple push notifications maybe add support for kanji of the day with an ability to set frequency. Along with options to see familiar or unfamiliar words and so forth would make this app shine.
  • Great app

    Very helpful!
  • Great vocab trainer

This is a great app if you want quick vocab training on the go. It only has level N5 by default, but you can unlock all other levels for just $5, which is pretty good. The quiz layout is simple and easy to drill yourself with. There is one issue that keeps me from giving it five stars, however. It's that your mastery of words is not recorded separately for the three quiz types. For example, say I take the default quiz (japanese word with english multiple choice options) a few times and master a word in that quiz. That word is now also mastered in the kanji quizzes and the reversed vocab quiz (the one that gives an english word with japanese multiple choice options). Even if i have never studied that word reversed or studied its kanji, it will not appear in the other quiz types. I think it would be much more helpful if all three quiz sections were completely separate from each other, and i was forced to master every word in every category. Despite this, the app is still worth trying out and purchasing if you like it.

  • Very helpful!

I got this app to test my Japanese knowledge and it has been really helpful with not only vocabulary, but kanji and furigana practice too. I've already improved within ten minutes of using it. 10/10 recommend
