New workouts?

I have used this app for a while and really enjoy it. The only problem is there are never any new workouts or workout programs.

Dead app?

Loved the programs, but are there any more updates coming? The lack of communication and fresh content tells me so. I hope I’m wrong.

Love the app but one problem.

Love the app. Easy to use. Love they show you workouts and easy programs. Just wish they would add workouts

Great app, but could use some improvement.

Like mentioned above, it’s a great app, but there are some things that could be improved.

Firstly, is the communication between the user and the developers, i.e. when new programs are coming out or updates are happening.

Secondly, some minor improvements to the sub headers above the type of exercise that is to be completed needs expansion. The entire sentence can’t be read in some instances.

Thirdly, and I may be the only one bothered by this, but the ability to listen to a third party music platform whilst playing a demonstration of the exercise is a no go. In order to listen to music and watch how to do the exercise properly, I have to go out of the app and start my music again and then go back to the 4PillarsFit app. Annoying, but not an app killer.

Sustains: I love the app. The aforementioned gripes are minuscule when it comes to the main goal of the app, and that is to advise and assist you on your journey to get functionally fit. Overall, it gives the user a substantial amount of the meat and potatoes.

Shoutout to Tim and Juan for everything they've done and put into this, as well as, everyone else involved. Keep up the great work and continue improving.

Good start hope it keeps improving

I dig the programming but if you could combine the programming here with the Keelo app it would be amazing. Keelo app is perfect in but lacks this great programming

It would be great to be able switch out equipment. Have a video of the exercise your doing as you progress through the program and scale certain programs

Also better details on the program. Some of the math and times doesn’t add up. It will say 20 minutes is the total timing but than 10 rounds of EMOM with 3 exercises. 3 exercises in a minute seems aggressive but otherwise each movement gets its own minute for 10 rounds which would be 30 minutes total.

Great Way to Get Fit

Been using the app for a couple now and really enjoy it. It really helps to have video instructions on how to do certain exercises. And overall love the versatility of all the different exercises included.

Poor Customer Service

Overall the App is pretty good. That is until it unexplainably stops allowing you to track your progress through the App (which is what we pay a premium for). Contacted support and got an automatic reply saying they’ll try and respond in 24 hrs. Its now a week and crickets. I suppose they could be out saving the world, but when customers are paying a premium and cant move forward on the App with no communication, it becomes an issue. The minor problems (missing videos and poorly explained exercise routines can be somewhat overlooked, but never customer service. Ive cancelled my subscription.

Unusable on iPads

Wanted to give the team feedback that the app cannot be logged into or used because of the user interface design. I love using this on my phone, but it would n great for it to be portable across devices.

Thanks

Help

Still haven’t gotten a reply with help as to why I am locked out and it says my account doesn’t exist when I paid for a year.

Health is Wealth

Was a little hesitant to get this because it was designed by Captain America (Tim Kennedy) and the Incredible Hulk (Juan Leija.) Honestly every work out pushes you to your limits every single day!

What a bust

Was excited for the app to finally go live after initial delays. Paid for the year to get a reduced monthly rate, and jumped into the advanced plan. The programming was okay, but after you finish the first six weeks, that’s it, no more advanced programming. I reached out through the app to ask about more programs being released, and they said they were in the works. Weeks have gone by now and nothing. Literally paying for nothing now. Super frustrating. Reached out for a refund but of course, no response. Don’t waste your money.

Excellence as always

Tim never disappoints! Great app, highly recommended. From a guy who is in great shape and works smart as well as hard! 5 stars.

Needs more attention

I spent a week with this app trying it out. Emailed a question to the support link in the app but never got an answer. I feel like there is more work to be done on this app and hopefully it won’t be one of those things where they spend a lot of time creating it initially and then they just leave it and let it earn what it earns. It just feels incomplete. If they continue to improve it I might try again but they need better customer support for a subscription-based product.

Response from developer

Hey There, Thanks for reaching out to 4Pillars Fitness. We appreciate the review. Please make sure to check your spam folder. We have responded to all customer service requests at this time. We just released an update to our app at the end of last week as well as another program. We plan to add programs monthly and updates every 2-3 weeks. - The 4Pillars Fitness Team

Good

I like the app, however the sets/reps/rest time should be better explained. Very confusing.

Not worth it

Tried the 7 day trial and the work outs all seem the same. 3 training plans and the daily “quick workout” is almost always the same. There is little to no variety. I love Tim Kennedy but I’m a bit disappointed from seeing the workouts he posts and these are the workouts he gives us. Was looking forward to EMOM or AMRAP incorporated.

Hey Tim, Thanks for reaching out to 4Pillars Fitness. Please keep in mind Tim does not write all the programming for the app. Many of the workouts he post on social media are designed for a group working out together based on who is present. The plan on our program and the future ones we will be releasing as his Signature programs are results-driven programs he has used when following a specific plan. - The 4Pillars Fitness Team

No Recordkeeping

I am trying the advanced workouts. They are good; varied but thorough across the body’s major muscle groups and fitness needs. Challenging too. But, and this is a big but, there is no way to record my progress or make notes about my performance. This makes it almost impossible to track unless I want to spend 20 minutes each workout separately recording results in another program. And, this is another big problem, There is no advice on time between sets or recommended weight. If I weren’t experienced I’d be lost, probably wasting too much time. For something that costs $120 per year, expensive for an app, I’d hoped for more. Unless you have a lot of experience, don’t use this app.

Hey There, Thanks for reaching out to 4Pillars Fitness. This is something we are looking to add to the app in the near future in an update. Please keep checking back. -The 4Pillars FItness Team

Hopefully there’s more

Hoping to see more from this app. Truthfully I want to keep supporting anything TK does, and I had high hopes for this. That being said…

I’m pleased with the intensity in the paid workouts, but there really needs to be some added features, especially for $15/mo. For instance, having a timer as you move to each workout or group would be helpful. As it stands right now, the timer takes up the whole screen and you can’t watch a video or remind yourself of reps without clicking out of the timer. Also it’s kind of disappointing that the Intermediate plan is literally the same exercises for 10 weeks in a row. But if that’s going to be the case it would be great to have fields to put your weights so you can track progress.

It’s very incomplete and basic for a fitness app, much less one that’s $15/mo… I’m not sure that value is there as it stands. Yeah they’re good workouts, but there’s not variety from week to week. Needs more features.

Hey BamaBaller, Thanks for leaving some feedback on the app. We will definitely look at this with our design team to see how some of these ideas can be implemented. We will be constantly improving and updating the app over the course of it's life. Regarding the workouts, in some programs the workouts will be the same week to week, albeit the rep and set scheme will change and so should the weight week to week. This is how we progressively overload the body to achieve growth and results. We hope you consider continuing to use the app as we make improvement and continue to release more programs. - The 4 Pillars Fitness Team

Takes all the guess work out!

So glad I found this app! Tim’s workouts are transforming the way athletes prepare! But, I’m not superstar and to have this incredible amount of helpful information is amazing. Plus I always have something new to do each day! So far this app has held me accountable and I feel like my cardio is better. I feel like I had been wasting so much time doing gym exercises that didn’t help me athletically.

Great Idea

I like the concept but it doesn’t seem to work on the IPAD platform for some reason. The screen is too small and you can not navigate. Otherwise I really like the way you can follow the instructions for each workout.

Fantastic programming

TK and Juan are the most passionate trainers I have ever seen, especially through an app. The exercises are difficult, which means there is longevity. They’re already adding more programs and it looks like we are only at the beginning of this journey. This app is a must for anyone looking to change their physique and their lifestyle.
