  • Great Stuff!

Great bang for the buck. If you love semi surreal puzzle adventure games, this game is for you. I've played many games that started off with a small investment and then they nickel and dime you to death for the rest of the game. Not this game! What you see is what you get! Some of the puzzles are quite hard and challenging. There is no walk through and the forum is pretty useless but if you're really stuck there is help on You Tube. (Spoiler Alert there though). This game is pretty addictive with a great story line, and slightly depressing commentary about your ability to survive. You will survive though and it's fun, fun, FUN!

  • Too imbalanced

The early gameplay, while visually appealing and enjoyable, is pretty easy. The "void mode" is insanely difficult - the game crosses over from challenging to frustrating. I probably won't finish it which is a shame - I'd like to see what happens. But a game that requires constant replays over and over and over again, while fun for a few hardcore gamers, grows tiresome pretty quickly.

It's a good and interesting game. Normally, I would champion these kinds of games over endless Angry Birds knock-offs. But it doesn't seem to know it's audience. Too easy (boring for hardcore) and then way too hard (frustrating for everyone BUT hardcore).

Hopefully the developer will think about that more in the future.

  • Beautiful, Immersive Experience

A haunting soundtrack, lovely visuals, imaginative story, and creative gameplay combine to make one of my favorite mobile titles of all-time. Throughout the main story, the protagonist's tale is dark and dismal, but hope shines through in a few surprisingly moving moments that are enhanced by the mood-appropriate music the story is set to. The environments are beautiful and the aesthetic is stylistic. I couldn't put it down when I played through the main story, and now I'm having a blast figuring out all the levels in "Void Mode", which offers a more challenging gameplay and better use of the protagonist's acquired powers.

    This game is a hands-down, no-brainer, slam-dunk - an absolute must-have for the iPad.

  • Stunning

This game is so amazing! I don' know why this game isn't number 1 on the app store. The storyline is nice and kept me interested, and the game is beautiful. The music is a nice touch, though I'm not sure about the sound effects, the screeching things were really annoying. The puzzles aren't particularly hard, but challenging enough to keep you interested, and if you want a real challenge, you can try void mode, once you've completed the main story. The tilt controls work well, but I'm not sure about button controls. I found that they could get in the way in intense moments. The game radiates polish, and in my opinion is one of the best games on the AppStore.

  • Playable art

This is a great game, though the puzzles aren't exactly brain-busters. To me, it's more of an experience than a game. I love the look of everything, and the painting mechanic is very well done. It's almost more of an interactive art piece than a game. Looking forward to finishing it and finding out what makes it so replayable. I'm very curious what the added element is. Also, major kudos to the dev for just charging a little more and skipping the IAP's. I can't stand this freemium epidemic that's plaguing the AppStore lately. I definitely recommend this if you're into indie games, especially ones that aren't afraid to veer from the beaten path.

  • Love and Hate

This game will lift you up and throw you down hard. First part is easy with a cute and good story, but then they give you Void Mode which you get to replay all the levels again, but they are much harder. Some will easy to crack, others a little harder which make you smile at your genius when you beat them. And then there are ones you are cursing the game cause you have tired everything and nothing is working. I had to stop playing many times just out of frustration. But well worth it once you finish it. If you like side scrolling puzzlers this is the game for you.

  • Amazing!

Still working on void mode but I've got to say- best, most original game I've played in 4 years of having iPhones (this one is much better on the iPad, the controls are rough on the iPhone, everything is so small!). The description says over 10 hours of game play- I suggest that it's much more than that! The puzzles in the first half are reasonable- challenging but easy to figure out (comparatively).. Then comes the void mode which is intense! It's awesome. All are expertly engineered and totally solvable but many of them are tough! I have full confidence that I'll finish the game but there will continue to be times that I need to put the game down and think for awhile. Which, incidentally is where I am now- totally stuck but after I sleep on it the answer will come I'm sure! Thanks for the hours and hours of entertainment :)

Update- finished it! Many many hours of entertainment! I think the 10 hours estimate they have is way low- maybe it would take 10 hours if you do everything perfectly the first time but I doubt anyone can do that regardless of how much of a genius you are. I probably played for 40+ hours! My husband is halfway through void mode and he's hooked too!

I can't wait to see what beautifun games comes up with next! I'll be the first to sign up!

  • The standard all IOS games should be held to

This game was a very pleasant surprise. The story is at once incredibly simple yet immensely deep and is something we all can relate to as human beings (ie. the desire to live and the consequences thereof). The gameplay is top notch and reminds me of the great platformers of yesteryear. First and foremost, however, this is a puzzle game (and a fantastic one at that). The ONLY gripe I have is that of void mode - the apps "New Game Plus" as it were. Once you reach this stage of gameplay the difficulty level skyrockets far beyond what you're used to; it's like going from Glass Joe right to Mike Tyson. Even so, you will find yourself making JUST enough progress to keep playing - and honestly enjoying yourself. If you've read this far, then take my final word for it: this game is a steal at its current price tag. If you like a good mentally stimulating game with creative character design (almost Tim Burton-esque) then this is for you.

  • Delightful game

This is really a very charming game. The puzzles aren't all that difficult - until you get into void mode! But even when the puzzles are fairly easy the game is delightful to play. The graphics fit the 'story' well, the game moves along well, and the whole thing just has a sweet sensibility about it - even with its dark storyline. The game really sucked me in and had me playing nonstop for quite awhile! If you're looking for an action game, this isn't it. If you're looking for cutting edge graphics, this isn't it. But if you're looking for a fun game with artistic flair that will make you smile often, and challenge your brain a lot in its later chapters, then pick this up. For sheer delight, this game is a bargain! I'll definitely be watching this developer to see what they come up with next!

  • Amazing

I'm one that never reviews games because I can't stand to play them very long I get really bored really fast and just always lose interest.
This is DEFINITELY not one of those apps. I love this game it's soo much fun to play and the story is intriguing. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing this game. I have spent lots of money buying other games on the app market but this I haven't been able to put down, much worth the $3.
Although to the creator there are quite a few glitches. I'll jump on a platform and fall straight through, or go to the next level and appear on the other side of a box I need to push. Thank you
