Better Than Apple Cloud Storage

Apple makes you pay $20 for 10GB+ a year which is a rip-off. Nobody wants to use a credit card only cash, and 1 time payments only. But Google Drive lets you store however much photos and videos for free for 15GB. Apple adds extra non existent cloud storage you haven’t used and say you’ve nearly used them all. Google Drive doesn’t lie about how many cloud storage you’ve used. Coz 500 photos and 200 5minute videos should only be 1.5GB like Google says

Mixed Review

I have mixed feelings about my 5 terabyte Google Drive. Yes, I really like being able to watch my uploaded videos from the cloud. Also, it is very helpful to have my work files available wherever I happen to be. But, unfortunately, Google Drive does not always upload and download correctly. For very large uploads, with multiple files within multiple folders, you need to check that all of your intended files correctly uploaded. Too often, I found that there were missing files in the folders I designated for upload. It works fine uploading a folder at a time, but file errors pop up uploading multiple folders. Google Drive does not automatically pick up the transfer process if there’s an Internet connection issue with a large multi-folder overnight backup. You think the backup went through, but find missing files upon inspection due to a connection issue. Frustrating. For this reason, I need to recommend Dropbox or OneDrive as better alternatives as I find that they have far fewer glitches.

Expert services with a strong track record in recovering crypto and other lost information.

I recently fall into a big scam from a trading platform called Interactive Brokers LLC trading, Unfortunately for me, I invested 55,000 USD worth of bitcoin with a fraudulent company. I was happy to watch my account grow to 260,000 USD within a couple of weeks. But i didn't realize i was dealing with a scam company, until i tried to make an attempt to withdraw. I made a withdrawal request, and noticed my account was suddenly blocked for no apparent reason. I tried contacting customer support, but all to no avail. I needed my money back at all cost, because i could not afford to let it go.
So i tried all possible means to make sure i recovered my scammed bitcoin. I did a lot of online search for help, and tried to see if there were other people who had any similar experience. I stumbled upon a cryptocurrency forum where a couple of people mentioned that they had been through the same process but were able to recover their lost cryptocurrency, funds with the help of tecwizardpro @ gmail. So i file a report and he was able to help me get back all my lost funds within 3hrs i feel indebted to him. Apart from trying to express my gratitude to them once again using this medium, I will recommend anybody who wants to recover scammed bitcoin, stolen cryptocurrency, funds lost to binary options forex, investment and any other form of online scam, reach out to tecwizardpro @ gmail

Very Handy!

I’ve used Google Drive for a lot of years. When I first started using it, I didn’t realise how easy Drive would making transitioning through time and devices. Google Drive has helped me keep files I’ve had for over 10 years now!
Drive is easy to use, and the UI is fairly easy to navigate.
The only downside is that now that cloud storage options are becoming cheaper, Drive is still slightly expensive at this point in time.
I would recommend ;).

Cornerstone of my life and career

How did we manage before the cloud? Emailing oneself backups, multiple lost iterations of files on multiple devices and machines, portable hard drives, usbs… what a horror show! Google drive has made keeping files across every device including my phone a breeze. Its ease of use puts it heads above Onedrive. This is one of those inventions that changes your life simply by sinplifying. I was suspicious at first, and I still backup my google drive to a hard (and it syncs automatically!) but I frankly trust the cloud now more than my hard (I have had hard drives fail on me). A godsend of an app!

Accessabilty nightmare

An update — i just love when trying to read a document and the title just pops in and out based on scrolling. Not distracting at all. Can you add firework animations as well? Why not? People love stuff flashing at them when they try to focus. Especially ppl with motion triggered vertigo and seizure disorders. Using basic functions of this app safely is becoming impossible with all the new animations added. I experienced vertigo symptoms pressing the hamburger menu. It rotated into an arrow. A line shoots across the top of the screen over and over when listening to mp3 files and viewing pictures. Just trying view files and this animation fires nonstop. “Responsive buttons” pop in an out based on scroll speed is super distracting. You can only open the edit option if you scroll really fast. This feels like early snapchat where you needed to know secret gestures to access all features. Who is asking for this?? It restricts everyone to one workflow. oh you're scrolling up? Let s make the header pop down because clearly you want that! Stopped reading for two seconds? Lets make it slide down — see its still here in case you forgot! And if you don’t, we don't care! These changes to the UI are discriminatory. There are no Accessability options that reduce or stop motion.

Photos, great! Videos, not so…

I mainly use Google Drive to transfer videos/photos/files between my devices. It’s great for the job as it doesn’t compress file quality. Photos and files transfer seamlessly although I’ve had issues with videos. Particularly, uploading video files from my PC there is no issue- but when I try to download the video file through the app on my iPhone, I am stuck on an “exporting” screen watching the wheel spin around forever. I’ve left my phone on charge, auto-Lock Screen set to ‘never’, walked away and left my phone unattended for over an hour and came back to see the same “exporting” screen with no progress- extremely frustrating. Not many forum/informational posts online either to help with this issue.

Hi there. Have you tried to download the file from Google Drive using a different network? Hope this helps!

Seamless Everything!

I've had my 2tB Google Drive for about 5 years now. I've never had an issue. It's user friendly, and I haven't had any delay issues. Works fine without a WiFi connection provide I have a good cellular connection on my iPhone. I've even watched MKV files while in transit with no WiFi. It's basically seamless. I prefer it to iCloud. It's faster, and less militant than Apple.

My only complaint is when I connect to Google Photos via login online through a browser it does not recognize my actual iPhoto Albums or Folders - only the entire library of photos in chronological order.

However, if I return to my iPhotos and select a bunch photos and assign them as 'favorites' then Google Photos will list them as favorites, making them easier to find. That's a bit cumbersome though. I'd pay an extra $1.00 a month if GDrive recognized all my iPhoto Albums & Folders.

Ive used google products for over a decade and never had any issues until now. These changes to the UI are discriminatory.
