Useless since last update
This app used to be great until the last update. It no longer shows MB road conditions or closures. All it shows now is just a dot on the map where your current location is. Big deal!!! Totally useless. Extremely disappointed. I’d give it 0 starts if I could.
Stuck in the middle of the ocean
The map gets stuck in the middle of the ocean. Would love to see this app updated to fix this bug!
Needs faster updates
Generally, I like the app, but it’s not updated enough when weather is happening and it has no ice feature. So if it’s raining and icy conditions and the roads are super slippery there needs to be notification for that. Maybe a blue line or something?
This app is sad
This app is just sad. The information is outdated and very vague even the camera feeds are often up 5 days old. We can do better MB. Just look at your neighbours SK and ND but have amazing 511 apps. It’s no wonder that people take to Facebook to ask each other about road conditions
Not opening
Asked me to re-login. Wouldn’t accept the login info. Tried deleting and reinstalling. No it won’t open, just stays on the black Manitoba screen
511 Manitoba
The app was displaying my location incorrectly, showing that I was currently in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, but it shows a black screen with the word "Monitoba" and won't open.
No conditions.
No conditions have been showing on the app for the last few days (mid Dec 2025). It just goes to a blank map.
Not reliable
Anytime there is significant weather and you actually need to use the app, it’s broken.
What happened??
I have been using this app for years, and it was always very reliable. We had a blizzard yesterday and it worked. This morning I opened it to check the roads, and it keeps opening south of Africa. I have location on. When I type an address for a route, nothing happens. I move the map so I can see MB but there are no roads. Very disappointing that this happens right when we need it!

Not working
App stopped working, cameras are gone from Ethelbert and no camera working up in RMNP. App will not open. Delete and reinstalled the app, still doesn’t work. Disappointed really liked when everything was there and working.
dead app?
this app no longer even opens… maybe somebody in manitoba transportation can get this fixed because right now it’s garbage and a waste of taxpayer money
Very useful and accurate
The 511 app always shows me real-time traffic, road conditions, and alerts that make driving so much easier, well not easier but more predictable. It’s simple to use, accurate, and a must-have for less stress driving.

Was reliable last winter…
This app was fairly reliable before but when I tried to use it today, it wouldn’t open properly. First it opened to the middle of the South Atlantic, so I deleted and reinstalled it and then the screen stayed black with the white Manitoba name and buffalo logo.
Disappointment
This has to be the most dysfunctional and unreliable apps ever made … never works when u need it

Don’t waste your time. Can’t believe taxpayers paid for this. Just use the website.
Cameras
Please bring back full screen viewing of the cameras, and the ability to zoom in on the cameras. You can’t see anything in a tiny square. And bring back the section where you can go to view all the cameras; have them all in one spot. Thanks.
Room for improvement
The general idea is there roads open / closed etc…. Would be nice if added weight restrictions option on filter kind of like North Dakota 511
Only minor improvements....
Downloaded this to see if anything has improved or not, & the only things improved upon are speed and intensity of colors, that's about it. Your landscape mode is real bad. Its not even a near complete screen picture of highways. It'd be real nice to have Zoom-in option, & definitely needs a wider fit for the screen for a better & easier view of roads on Cameras. Your push notifications settings are non-functional. You see toggle settings against a white background, with absolutely no options written. How do we know what we're being notified on?... Menu interface is a mess. Please make alerts options easier to read & please erase the white background in alerts settings. Thank you.
