  • Look no further!!

I downloaded about 20 to test them out, but this is exactly the app I was looking for.

It has AUDIO for each word and works WITHOUT WIFI!

It's amazing and you'll save yourself a lot of time and take my word for it :)
  • Truly the best

This is in fact the best french app dictionary just as the name says. Completely offline and thorough. I had deleted the app from my device to save space, but the alternatives paled so far in comparison that I'm just happy I've been able to find this app in the store again.
  • Good resource for intermediates, ok UI

Good range of words and their usages in sentences. Better than most other apps I've tried for this purpose.

However, I'd like more exhaustive inclusion of the prepositions used with each verb, and reduced duplicate entries. Another bug: once you've tapped the search box, you need to enter something and search for it before being able to switch languages. That's annoying--that "change language" bar should always be accessible.

  • Awesome apps

I did use a lot of time this dictionary, it's so useful. Thank you very much. Cheers
  • Great

This app has been extremely useful for study and travel
  • Decent beginners' dictionary

Audio feature is useful for beginners. Could include more words. Would be nice if words in the definitions clicked through to their own definitions. Selecting "English" or "French" ought not to be needed since the dictionary knows both languages.
  • Nice VoiceOver!

The woman recording did an excellent job which makes practice much easier. She's audible and clear, while still maintaining the characteristics of her speech. Also the various idioms are useful, but you probably need some previous experience with verbs since this dictionary assumes you know the root words.

  • Excellent

It is hard to find an audio dictionary such as this, truly handy and part of the tools I added to my collectiom to help me learn French. Just like a regular pocket dictionary with pronunciation help but this is great because it is audio, instead of read pronunciation. Also give idioms and bits and pieces of words (like suffixes) that would change the meanings, I havent found that anywhere else. It can be switched between English and French which is handy for people learning English from French. The audio portions sound native instead of electronic voices which makes it a better tool. Great job guys. Also this is a dictionary, if you want help on grammer there are other great apps and tools for that. Thanks,

    Chris

  • Really useful

Whilst working in Paris, this app has been very useful for checking the meaning of words without a roaming Internet connection clocking up big bills. Although it doesn't have every word obviously, it certainly has more than enough to get by with, very useful...!
  • Easy searches

Easy to search. I change verbs to the infinitive to search. Have also searched for and found many idiomatic phrases. Love having this helpful app.
