Best yet
As a Spanish student, I use dictionaries a lot - both in paper and electronic form. There are some excellent programs out there but most of them need Internet access. This is the best I have found so far which does not need Internet. There is also very useful phraseology which helps with translations. A big thumbs up from me and I can highly recommend this - especially as I now have it on iPhone and iPad!Show lessBertie Ponsonby-Smythe

Great translations, weird definitions
This free dictionary is better than ones that sell in the App Store for $30. It has lots of key words and slang as well as obscure terms. The only negative is that the examples of the word being used in a sentence so not help to define the meaning of the word.Seedheaddesign

A great dictionary
This is very comprehensive, far more than my more expensive Collins dictionary, it is close to the full Oxford dictionary at a fraction of the cost. I particularly like the way you can search on phrases, rather than just words. Thoroughly recommended!seaweedsid
