Needs update
Continually needs the app the be closed & reopened.. timer doesn’t work & remote feature doesn’t work.. your lucky to be able to turn it on or off.. we are at os12 now.. last update two years ago is poor when all your resellers are pushing the sales pitch of how great this feature is... maybe with an iPhone 4 but.... Please Update..

What happened?
Used to work great, recently will not connect remotely which was really the whole point of having the app, could turn the fire on when out and about and it would be warm when you go home. Can now only be used when phone is also connected to home wifi network, may as well just use the remote that comes with it. Over $6k of gas fire and has a useless app..? Not very impressed anymore.

Can login via internet browser, but the app doesn’t work at all.

Does not work unless I am at home- absolutely pointless paying extra for it. Waste of money.
No phone data access
Doesn’t work unless you are connected to wifi - ie won’t work over 4G meaning you can’t turn it on when you are on your way home

Great idea having an app but when it doesn’t even work from inside your house let alone outside it, useless. Just keeps saying ‘refreshing’ and doesn’t do anything even though it says ‘turning fire off or on’.
Like the app but can't refresh
I like the app - no trouble connecting on same wifi network as fireplace. Positives: easy off, on, fan boost & temperature reset. Once I set the timers, I never use the remote anymore.
Negatives: The app doesn't refresh so I need to close out & restart it each time I make a change to fireplace settings. Would be great to be able to use it over 4G. Overall good app.

Not bad not great
A few connectivity issues. Overall works most of the time. Strange that the app doesn't seem to allow you to change the timers in the app. That would be very convenient and suit the idea of remote control.
Can we please fix that soonest.
Update June 2017 - hardly ever works. Fireplace is unavailable most of the time.
A waste of space on a phone. I think that they may need to alter their promotional material to remove the claim that the fireplace can be operated remotely as that cannot be substantiated.
