Awesome app for med students

I loved this app for biochemistry and cell biology to contextualize topics that were difficult to visualize. I kept with it when my class moved on to anatomy and physiology and it worked really well to see concepts in a new way. The speed options are great if you've mastered the material already. This is a game changer b/c the material really sticks with you. I found myself drawing the figures to help me on tests or when studying more cards was just too monotonous. Would highly recommend adding this to your study arsenal!

Draw It to Know It

Between the drawing along with the tutorial and the quiz questions afterward, I was really able to understand the subjects. Its much easier to follow along for the first time on a desktop computer with a full screen. With the app, I’m able to review anywhere, skim notes and review questions. Available for neuroanatomy and gross anatomy, now, and it looks like biology, physiology, and biochemistry are on their way. It's made my studying and memorization more efficient and effective!

The physiology and biology of congestive heart failure

I'm a Heart Failure specialist. Were I not a longtime friend of the author, I never would have downloaded this app. But since I did, I did bother to watch some of it, and it's brilliant. I've now reviewed the heart sections from the perspective of every medical science: neuroanatomy, gross anatomy, physiology, cell biology, and too what extent is relevant, biochemistry. There's a lot in here I can use at the bedside with patients. I'm shocked at how much simpler this app can make medical science. Bravo, good buddy. Excellent work.

Utah, get me two... Two

Gross anatomy and Physiology were hugely helpful. The quizzes that accompany each tutorial really helped solidify my understanding. The site says cell biology and biochemistry are coming soon. I messed around with Neuroanatomy but didn’t buy, was too far along in semester to make sense of the purchase. Utah, get me two!!!

Ridiculously useful website and app

Can't recommend this anatomy and physiology app enough, I’m learning so much faster and I can keep up with my neuroanatomy course. So glad my friend showed this to me, it’s a lifesaver! Want to see how it goes with biochemistry and cell biology this spring.

Great Anatomy Tutorials

I looked for apps on anatomy for my premed classes, and this app came up. The free biology demos convinced me, looking forward to using the neuroanatomy tutorials next semester, and hoping the physiology tutorials will be fully ready soon. Haven't taken biochemistry, and the demos for that were terrific, too!

Anatomy Essential!

This is a great supplement to any anatomy course! Learning anatomy, (especially neuroanatomy!) feels overwhelming, but the app breaks everything down into short, simple videos that makes it much more manageable. I love how easy it is to pull it up on my phone so I can squeeze in a little studying whenever I have some extra time, without lugging around all of my books. I definitely recommend this app!!

THE study tool you've been looking for

As one of the illustration artists/multimedia specialists at Draw it to Know it I can vouch for the hard work and research that goes into every tutorial in this app. Our science writers cover neuroanatomy, gross anatomy, physiology, biology, (with more courses in progress, such as biochemistry) and the active learning principles implemented in our teaching style are sure to make your study time more worthwhile than ever. Try these out on the device that best suits you - phone, tablet, desktop computer - and follow along by using our drawing pad, orwhatever drawing media you're most comfortable with.

Physiology, neuroanatomy, and more

Just as a disclaimer, I work for Draw It to Know It as an artist, but this app is pretty great. Even though I'm not a medical student, I plan on using this to study gross anatomy from an artistic perspective. We are currently building our cell biology course as well as human biology and anatomy and physiology, and I'm excited to see this app get used as we have all (science writers and artists) put in a lot of work to make this the comprehensive learning tool that it is.

How do you like them apples?

An apple a day keeps the doctor away, but my cell biology class almost kept me from becoming a doctor in the first place. Friend found it for physiology. Helped me pull my grades out of the clunker. Using it for biochemistry next semester.
