  • A pain, and it costs

This app is not at all easy to navigate, and prepare to pay lots of in-app costs. Very disappointed.

  • The best Bible languages app on the market

In my humble opinion this app is best Bible languages app on the market. There are so many great features in this app but the one I love the most is the verse by verse slideshow with parsings. I’ve had the app for a while and am now rediscovering it’s usefulness as I move from trying to remember words in isolation to understanding words in their biblical context. This app achieves this goal perfectly. One other thing I also really appreciate, is the Greek pronunciation, which is reconstructed Koine from my understanding. It sounds very close to modern Greek and for me personally, it feels way more natural and honouring to the original language, than the Erasmian pronunciation I learnt in the BTh does.

  • Best Vocab app on the market

Great features and easy to use. Two stand out above the rest: the ability to isolate vocabulary by designated passages and viewing the individual words as well as a whole verse to see how the roots inflect; and the ability to learn vocabulary from all the popular Hebrew and Greek grammars. This last feature will be invaluable to students who can select vocabulary lists from Pratico and Van Pelt or Mounce by chapter instead of carrying around stacks of index cards. I don't know of any other app that can do those things.

Helpful to review vocab from Greek and Hebrew textbooks!
  • Super language study app

Superb app worth the price of admission and then some. What is so great is that the app makes use of computer strengths to mold learning to the way human brains most effectively learn. This is truly a best best blend of technology and psychology.
  • Amazing, thoughtful app!!

This app is super! I ended up purchasing the upgraded option, and I use this app on a daily basis. You can tell that this app wasn't rushed and thrown together. It's really polished and has so many great features that help you learn and read koine. This is one of the best Apps for Greek vocab I have found. Definitely worth the money for the upgrade :-)

  • Great work!

Can't say enough about this app. Don't know how I studied Greek without it.

Only issue I have - and it's a very small one - is that some definitions take too many exegetical liberties, or make leaps that are not widely accepted in scholarship. For example, the definition of Iscariot is rendered "Man from Kerioth." Without going into too much detail, while this is generally accepted as a possible etymology of the name, by no means is this a consensus view. It's only one of five or six hypotheses that have been posited.

But, as I say. This is a minor objection. For those who want a brilliant study tool just to wrap your mind around Biblical Greek vocab, there really is no better app.
