Highly un smart rather a dumb app
I subscribed to premium and after deducting money it keeps on asking again and again to subscribe for premium and very poor interface which can be made much more beautiful. One great feature I must appreciate that one can choose from a number of equaliser options to improve sound quality.
Developer must fix this bug pop out saying buy premium subscription even after you have paid for premium lifetime subscription.

Large choice of radio stations
Used to be good
I switched to this app as another app I was using was ending. When I first downloaded it was great, yes an add would come up each time you chose a station, but you could close it after it played. Now, the station will just stop, it appears to be playing but there is no sound. My suspicion is that there is another add trying to get through. If you pause and replay, sometimes it will work as long as you watch another add and sometimes it just won’t… You have to either close the app or choose another station, watch that add and then go back to the station and watch another add. Also, I noticed that when the music stopped that my location services were active, so I turned those of for this app and it’s marginally better, I might get 5mins before it happens again…

The only thing I dislike is some stations have commercials before one can listen to them, some have many commercials before one can listen and some cut the show off to have commercials, which is frustrating.
Some stations go straight to their programs., which is great.
What I love is one can get any radio station in the world 👍

Alarm doesn’t switch on radio
I downloaded this app thinking it worked as a “radio alarm”. In other words, the radio could be set to play at a specific time. Unfortunately, the alarm setting simply sends a notification for you to wake up and switch on the radio yourself. If I wanted to be woken up by Apple’s notifications, I wouldn’t have been looking for this app in the first place. According to the developers, setting the radio to automatically start playing without user notification first is not an option thanks to Apple. On the positive side, the radio part of this app really is excellent.

Good but still needs some work
myTuner Radio has been an excellent app for making my default radio on CarPlay.
-Still UI on CarPlay need new UI especially Now Playing, the sound quality is meh sometimes play stereo, mono or sometime play on one speaker.
-myTuner Radio on Apple Watch is best one and bring one of the best feature to allow play on watch speaker. Now downside app lacks unable to keep the app in background. Audio stops when watch turn off screen or when switched to another app. Also, volume is broken in the app.
-myTuner really need to rework on ads.
- request feature on the app to bring offline music download on the watch.

Replaced obsolete TuneIn
Update July 2024...
Been using for several years now. Still Has a lot of the stations that were removed from the more commercialized platforms.
Unfortunately the audio quality is not as good on comparable streams. The buffers are not large enough and doesn't appear to be a way to adjust to make them larger. What this means is connectivity is pretty horrendous and when there's a handoff from WiFi to cellular the stream will stop and not reconnect until i close the app and reopen and establish a new connection. Not even a premium version to be able to fix these two items. Others than that it's still the best streaming audio app for commercial free independent radio stations.
Original review... When most of the stations I liked on Tune In were georestricted or just didn't work anymore I thought they were gone. But they're all available on myTuner. Plus many more. I wish it would sync up better with the other devices but I'm sure they'll get there.

Best Radio app.I have the paid version
I have tried a lot of these apps but this is by far the best. It is compatible with Car Play and I can get all the radio stations I want I n Australia. Excellent support service. When I couldn’t get one of my favourite stations I contacted support on the app and within a day they had my station connected and replied to my request. Very impressed.

Packed with Ads.
Most times when you open app you have to close out an advertisement for a game in particular one called Evony(I have grown to HATE this game)and you are required for a time to just wait until the “X” appears 10-15 seconds)so that you can actually select the station you want to listen to. And if it’s playing something you don’t want to hear or decide to change the station. You are tasked with the previous process all over again. It can take MINUTES to actually get a station in place to listen to. In addition to this, many times the app pauses the station and you have to select “Play” over and over every few minutes. Not really happy with the hoops they have in place.
