Great shopping tool
We use the shopping app all the time. Create different lists for your all shopping needs. It is also great for sharing a list say for a family camping trip.

Like it but wish it was listed alphabetically (categories & items within categories)

Easy yet complete.
You can easily write in that you want milk on a grocery list. On the other hand, you can specify which store have it remind you when you pass by the store. Any glitches that could possibly be noticed are immediately remediated (though in my case it’s been user error). They’re always looking forward in enhancing the program (not forcing you to buy the updated one). Now that I’ve figured out to purchase the program on anylist.com, not Apple, my lists are never lost. Thank you fellas!

Was Great now just frustrating
I told all of my friends to get AnyList. My family loved it and paid for the premium version for a number of years. I am not sure why Alexa is no longer supported by this app or visa versa. I DO NOT recommend until they work this out. Look elsewhere.

AnyList still supports Alexa, although the exact command that you must use with Alexa has changed as of July 2024 due to changes forced upon us by Amazon. Best overall app for any type of lists
I’ve been using AnyList for a few years now and it’s been a major help for our family. My wife’s likes to keep detailed list for different things and paper wasn’t cutting it.
We explored Apple’s Reminders App and the syncing broke at some point. Long story short, AnyList sync never failed. We now have lists for all the frequent stores we buy from but also one for trips and different activities so we don’t forget anything.
Recently we needed to switch from an older recipe manager and discovered the Recipe management of AnyList. We were using Paprika and thought the process of exporting would be hard, after reaching out to AnyList support, they gave me a walk through and just like that 259 recipes got imported!

Best thing for families!
Amazing to keep yourself organized!!
I’ve been using the app for over a year now and I love it. Not only can I create lists for everything I need, but with the paid version, I can meal plan daily, upload all my recipes and download recipes from the internet directly into the app! Goodby to scrolling for 10 minutes trying to get to the actual recipe.
When meal planning, you can click the ingredients you need and it automatically sends them to your grocery list. This app converted me from pen and paper grocery lists to having all my lists digital! Well worth it!!
As an extra bonus, I have been saving a lot of money grocery shopping. I was never a meal planner and would just buy what was on sale or what I felt like, often throwing out produce at the end of the week because it was going bad. Since meal planning, I only buy what I need and the waste has been significantly reduced.
