needed update, but then great
I love this app! I’ve been using the original Timeline 3D on my macs for years, and it’s the best timeline creation program out there. This iPad version works beautifully, as well, though I did have to use the update after upgrading my iPad to ios8. The update came out, I installed it, and now all is well again. Love this. This is truly a beautiful application. DOWNLOAD this app now! You don't know how beautiful it is unless you experience it for yourself. The 3D designs are absolutely breathtaking. This app is also great for note talking, and is one of the best apps I own. Thank you for fixing the crashing issue with iOS 8 on iPads. You responded extremely quickly to my complaints.

Crashes on start up...
I have very high hopes for this app but it keeps crashing on a fairly well equipped iPad with lots of memory. Seems like an excellent tool for legal casework. ; )

iOS 8 FAIL
I thought, based on previous reviews, that this would be an awesome app, but it loads for half a second and then crashes. Every time. Sure needs to be optimized for iOS 8+teacherinjapan
Good but bad
Timeline 3D is a really useful, fun and easy to use app but there are some downs. It keeps crashing. Please update ASAP! I have an assignment due in two days and this is the app I am using! Please fix it! Thankyouerror-reload

Rather disturbing bug
While uploading a 49.6 MB 19 event presentation to Dropbox the app displays:
NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1005
The disturbing part: it deletes its Dropbox folder which, of course, removes everything the folder contained. This is bad.

Avoid
I purchased this app to replace my manual timeline logbook that contains about 200 photos and events going back 40 years. When creating events the app has the ability to add photos that are stored on Dropbox. However, every time I tried to add photos the app crashes. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Tried changing photos file formats but had same problem. My iPad is running the latest iOS7. You can not do any real work with this app and for such an expensive app, this is not acceptable.Show lessDipak Uttamlal
Thoughtful and well designed
I started using this on my Mac but I wanted to give praise to the iOS version. While it is simpler, you can tell that time and effort went into making this really good at doing one thing really well and I appreciate that.
I like the ability to link events to a web page and the zoom function to see media attached to an event.
I'd like to see the ability to print out timelines onto more than just one page. I'd also like to see in-app purchases for more interesting themes.Show lessRPS90483
