Wot? No Dropbox or iCloud sync?
The rendering of timelines is great on iPad and iPhone but the total lack of any support for Dropbox or iCloud or Box syncing or storage is a very significant shortcoming at makes the app too much hassle to use in practice.
I bought the Mac version ages ago and was looking forward to being able to develop my timelines on both OS X and iOS interchangeably, with syncing over Dropbox or iCloud. What a disappointment that it's just not possible.
File transfer via iTunes is a very poor solution.
As soon as this app gets Dropbox or iCloud or Box.net support I will give it 5 stars. Until then, it's only worth 3.Show lessJustStardust
Strongest Timeline App out there.
This is a case where you get what you pay for. It makes gorgeous timelines. I haven't seen a Timeline app for iOS or the Mac that comes close. I'm impressed at how it works as a 1.0 version. Kudos to the developer. Here are some things I hope are being worked on:
1. 2D Timeline pinch, zoom, touch to edit. Many times I want to stay in the 2D view because it gives me a better overall view of how my timeline events work together in one concise visual. I like the 3D view - but the 2D view should be just as robust.
2. Dropbox sync. I'd like to work on the same timeline on my Mac, iphone, iPad without the current hassles of exporting via mail or iTunes.
These things shouldn't stop you from getting this app at this point. It's strong as it is and I hope it continues to improve.Show lessFlipped
It's nice...
I hope this isn't the only way this app will ever be able to present the timeline... It is pretty and I plan to use it, but I think I would like some other options, perhaps a horizon style effect with zoom for greater detail would be nice in some situations. Just a few different styles to choose from.
It is still the best visual timeline app I have found to date... I was just hoping for a bit more. The price certainly implies that the developer thinks it is top of the line so maybe I am just expecting too much.Show lessMurdock Scott

Outstanding. Easy. Effective. I created a timeline for an opening statement in a complicated legal case. It took me ten minutes to prepare. I then showed it to some of my friends. After seeing the presentation they immediately had a complete understanding of my case. I also purchased the MacBook Pro version which gives you more options than the Ipad version. I highly recommend both versions, especially if you are a lawyer.Show lessChina2jack

This is an awesome app, however better export options, such as files using "Open In" (e.g. PDF, mp4, mov, etc.)
The ability to record the timeline to video, with manual or auto advance with defined delay.astaley

Beedocs 3D is one of those apps that not only wows people when they see the animated timelines that it produces, it is top drawer, first class software.
I don't write reviews, but this software needs to be used to be believed. Just think of the timelines that you can create - family histories, Christmas photos over the years, photographic restorations of houses/cars/paintings/gardens - there is no better way to represent the passing of time.
I have nothing to do with Beedocs, but this software is a little beauty that you need to try.
