  • SFF 2021

Everyone is trying to make it as great as possible - especially the staff and volunteers. The Festival is wonderful!!!
  • Annoyingly confusing, not synching

Fairly disappointed that the app is not showing the tickets I bought through the web site, but it seems to confusingly show all my liked movies mingled with only sone of my purchased tickets, but not all of them. I would have missed one of my movies today if I hadn’t checked my actual printed tickets. No use having it at all if it confuses rather than assists. It also keeps telling me it need to update, but then won’t actually update and then goes into a loop telling me it needs to update... epic fail again SFF ticketing...

  • No longer supports adding tickets to Apple Wallet

Previous versions of this app allowed adding tickets to Apple Wallet, where it can be easily brought up to be scanned, or shared with those you're seeing films with.

That feature has been inexplicably removed - now you have to open the app, and navigate to the correct tickets to bring them up, and it's no longer possible to send tickets to others without screenshotting the app.

  • Indispensable

Film buffs who zoom around from sold out screening to sold out talk, a smile on their face, never worried they'll miss a film, go to the wrong venue or get left out in the rain? They have one thing you don't: this app in their pocket. Makes the experience 100% easier, ensuring your focus is on the films, not on trying to find that crumpled ticket printout at the bottom of your bag under the pouring rain 10 minutes after the film has begun.

  • Great app but couple of suggestions

    1. Would be good if could look at synopsis of film from "my tickets" especially for subscribers that have 50 films to look at. Not everyone selects films and then buys tickets, subscribers buy tickets and them select what they want to see.
    2. Really annoying to get told thanks for vote after select rating especially when you have bought 4 subscriber tickets so have potential 200 to vote for. I think I know when I have made a rating.

  • How did we do it before this?

Downloaded this without expecting anything but now I love it! From having your tickets on the screen instead of printouts to how it adds the film to your calendar. The one thing missing is I wish it would put your wish list next to your tickets on one screen so you could see what times clash when buying more tickets. Next year maybe

  • Times have changed

I have been going to Sydney Film Festival for 3 decades, gone are the days when you had to carry the big heavy program, queue for hours to buy or book tickets etc... This app does it all: tells you about the movies, shows you trailers, keeps your favourite wish list (which you can edit easily) books your pickets and much more...very easy to use...

  • Great

    Great up don't know why

  • Teething problems

Works brilliantly until it starts crashing again... And again. Sent error reports the first few times but got jack of waiting. Now it just stays stuck on the home screen. Popcorn for brains indeed! Also noticed the default home screen is a map of Australia (from "dining delights" section) when the app eventually reopens which is a bit confusing.

  • Great app

I especially love that it allows you to conveniently access all your purchased tickets, with a QR code to scan on your smartphone, so you don't have to bother printing tickets.
