I check this before every flight if weather is it all questionable. Helps find cloud tops, risk of ice, and thickness of icing layer. Have been using it about six months. But still not facile with it. Sometimes is perfect. Sometimes understated risks. I must read more about its use.Dr Pe

The app does a nice job of presenting skew(T)Log(P) graphs. These graphs are standards used by the weather pros (which I am not). They are good for predicting tops and bottoms of clouds and especially icing conditions. This is my "Go-To" app for flying IMC. Very strongly recommended for IFR or VFR flights.Show lessThe_Wrench

This app is extremely useful for determining cloud tops and potential icing. It has very few glitches as far as I know I use it all the time. And oh yeah, duh ....you need to understand how to read a skew t diagram before it will be usefulBob cirrus pilot
