This is a great app but you have to take the time to research what everything means I use it as a supplement to some of my other weather apps such as radar scope. I would recommend this app for sure.KVARICHM86
Great tool but better/detailed how to instructions needed
Easy to use app and very clean and clear format. Would like to see a more flushed out tutorial on how to understand the chart that is part of the application instead of the links provided. A single summary of chart interpretation would be invaluable.Commercial pilot 87
Best method
This is the best method I've found for knowing what I'm going to find once airborne. Until now, I've pretty much had to rely on PIREPS, and while they are very reliable, sometimes they aren't available and in reality, they don't tell the whole story.SRM14

With the new route tool added, I cannot say enough good things about this tool. In the winter trying to figure out if I can get on top and stay on top used to be a hassle, now it is simple.Zombiefear228
Nice Basic Skew-T program
Gives the info it should. I would like a bit more of a inter-active U.I. . Graphics are coarse, need to be sharpened up to display a better resolution. Can't put my finger on it but room for improvement. Doesn't make me want to come back and use it. I use it only when I remember I downloaded it.Brainal
One of my top aviation apps
Notice: The FAA site where skewT grabs data from is being updated and is currently down. Once back online the app will work as normal again. It's not the developerMs fault.
I was recommended this from a beech talk thread and I've really come to love it. Wish it had a better FAQ about reading skewT charts, but Google helped me and the most recent update has made the app immensely better. Love being able to look at the weather along the route and the destination.

Great enhancement in Ver. 1.8!
The latest major update adds the ability to get and store for offline (e.g., in flight) reference a sequence of spaced, forecast soundings over a proposed actual flight path at future times during the flight. Very intuitive to use, extremely useful and a provides a great enhancement to flight safety for those who use this.
I hope the next major update will expand SkewT coverage outside of CONUS, and allow the user to select the Skew t source to be used such as the GFS Skew t's.

I got the app specifically for CAPE, but then learned so much more about the other factors!
