  • Terrific app; needs a small big fix

Definitely happy to have downloaded — very good app!

The syncing though seems to get itself tied up about once a week, and I find the only thing that fixes it is a re-download. Not sure what’s happening to corrupt the local data store.

HOWEVER, even with this inconvenience, it’s an outstanding, ambitious app and very worthy of five stars. Very well done!

  • User Friendly

Site allows for tracking your personal stock portfolio, excluding preferred stock, with current market data. The site allows for easy updates and deletes, setting up portfolios of holdings by family member w/o exhaustive sign on procedures, flexibility by the user to maintain. Plus it is a free site which also provides investment management if desired.

  • Great app.

Great app. I do however, occasionally experience an issue where it keeps putting up an error message that reads ‘server not found’ I’ve gone from using cell service to established internet connections and still get the issue. I’ve even changed iPhones and I still get it. Only fix is deleting it and reloading it. Otherwise a great app

  • Calculating total return

SigFig although a very good application is not able to aggregate total return figures that you import from say Fidelity or Ameriprise. This the only downside to the app and I have had to manually enter this data and has been repeatedly deleted on numerous occasions. I have asked several time and SigFig advises that they are aware of the problem and are working on it. This has probably been going on now for 2 years

  • Several Years Use of SigFig

I have had the use of SigFig’s App and have been very pleased with the App and the support that I have received from the SigFig team from time to time. Occasionally there have been issues with downloading current data from one of my investment companies but the SigFig technician I have interfaced with always worked with me, caring about my issues, and helping to get the problem resolved. It is a great tool for monitoring your investments and I highly recommend its use.

  • This app provides an amazing view of your portfolio

This is the only app I know that can give you a view of a single stock across multiple accounts. This view allows you to see the daily/yearly performance, how many shares you have in each account and the total number of shares in all the accounts for a single stock symbol.
  • Love it but keeps crashing...

I was loving this app, but on the phone, if I tap on tracker to see the daily changes, it crashes. It had been working, so maybe it’s the IOS update that did it. I do really like being able to see all of my information from different accounts all in one place, and the tools are great. I just wish it would work beyond the opening screen.

  • Doesn’t work at all

Update: since two months ago’s update, app doesn’t work at all, just “Oops! Something went wrong while processing your request. Try again”; website works fine, but isn’t mobile friendly. Was an awesome app

Old review: SigFig is really great. It aggregates all of your accounts, and the account info, into a single dashboard so you can see your whole portfolio at a single glance. If you've got multiple accounts and hate signing into every one of them to get a quick view of how you're doing, this is the app for you. There's a paid service too, but I haven't used it.

  • Best app so far, but could be better

First off, I love the SigFig app. The interface is clean and readable, and I like ability to quickly jump between "movers" and overall holdings. I like that I can enter positions manually, too, although that won’t appeal to everyone. It's the one investing app I use all the time, and I've tried Yahoo Finance, StockTracker & several others.

However, I would love a better way to organize news items about stocks & funds. Right now it's a big jumbled list, ordered by date. Instead, it would be great to allow the user to tag different news sources, for example, so i can choose to have a feature article in the WSJ, for example, persist longer in my article queue than a Seeking Alpha post. Could also have an alphabetical slider by source along one side of screen. I tend to glaze over when I see my article queue, and I don't check it every day, so I'm sure I'm missing good stuff about my holdings.

  • It started out excellent years ago but has degraded

I’ve been using SigFi website since it started under a USA Today login. It use to be excellent showing things like percent of portfolio in global markets. Now it is so broken that even the dividend yield shows zero for all stocks. I just tried the app to see if it was any better than the website and found the app to have even less data. Why would anyone use the SigFi wealth advisers when they can’t even maintain their own website? Off to find a replacement.
