definitely think this app is the reason i got great scores on my hesi test. a lot of the questions were either very very similar if not identical to the questions on the test. also helped me figure out what subjects i needed to study more!!! 10/10 recommend this to every person studying for the HESI A2Show lessalliemae55
Passed the HESI
This app really helped me study for the HESI! I passed each section with 80 or above making a 92 on the biology section. The only section I didn’t make an 80 was the vocabulary were I made a 76. I loved the daily question feature & the explanations that were given. The app as a whole was really HELPFUL. Passed my HESI A2 with a perfect score!
I don’t typically write reviews, but I have to say I am extremely impressed with the app. I only had to take the math and English composite parts of the HESI A2, but with that being said I was able to score 100 on all sections. This is a wonderful way to review for the HESI A2. I bought the lifetime access because it really isn’t expensive when you consider that buying a physical book would cost nearly the same. I like using the iPhone app, but I will say I found myself using the computer version more (it’s included!). I highly recommend this app to all future nurses!Show lessmarcusmouse

Used this app to help me prep for my HESI exam for Nursing. I was really having a hard time with anatomy because the test would pull really random questions for just 30 questions on our exam. This app helped to cover most of the different anatomy questions. Any questions I really had trouble with I just screenshot and memorized. Another suggestion: screen shot any questions you really had trouble with or had no idea what it was. Overall the app was easy to use and helped me gauge which subject I had trouble with which was anatomy and Math. English and Vocab was also on my test and this app helped since the physical prep book a friend gave me was pretty outdated and like 60% reliable when it came to Anatomy and Math...Show lessANDRE1mang
BOOHOO ITS GREAT
SURE the app crashes and isn’t developed to his greatest potential. But why critique it when it can literally GUIDE you into your future? Be appreciative that this app is available in whichever form! Yes it has its tweaks but the content is there and worth it to bypass and pay that 15$. I agree it did help me for my math, vocab, reading, chem, and biology. However for the A&P there were about 2-3 questions on the test from this app but everything else was derived elsewhere. It’s more specific on the test. I suggest going on google and actually typing out “ A&P HESI practice tests “ and studying that way. It’s not super specific but more specific than the elsvier book and this app.Show lessPalRip
DO NOT BUY THIS APP
The app is functional but not effective. The anatomy and physiology portion is NOTHING like what is on the HESI. I took my HESI today and thank god I retained my anatomy 1 and 2 classes because this app did not help at all. The questions are not formed at all like they are on the real test and the information is much more specific than what is on the app. The Vocab. and reading comp. portions were helpful but you can find the exact same information for free on a quizlet. One category for my HESI wasn’t even on the app. My advice is do not waste your money on this and if you do, don’t use this as your only study source. I used several different sources and managed to score a 92 cumulative on my HESI but this app did not help me. Also, the app begins to crash heavily after a lot of data is stored in it. Helped me crush the HESI
The program I’m applying to only requires the math, reading, grammar, and vocabulary sections of the HESI. I used the Elsevier book to review (hadn’t had a math class since...let’s just say it’s been a long time) and purchased this app to practice. I went all in and bought the Cadillac version with tons of questions and don’t regret it for a second. Between the book and this app I scored a 99% cumulative on my HESI.
Pocket Prep has been my constant companion since I registered to take my exam a few months ago and I’m a little sad to delete it from my phone, but I owe it a debt of gratitude. That’ll do, app. That’ll do.Show lessJimmy Jam Joe
Get this app!
I love this app because I had the opportunity to study anywhere for the HESI exam. I got an 85 on my first shot at the HESI entrance exam! Don’t rely on solely this app to get your grades up because overall it’s important to review the material with a hesi book before you try the questions on the pocket prep app. The exam tests your thorough knowledge on basic concepts in Chemistry, Biology, etc! Worth every penny!!
To be honest, I was hesitant to spend the money on this app. I took the Hesi last month and while I did very well on most sections, I barely passed A&P.....75% was needed and I scored a 76%. You are allowed to take the exam twice for my school so I rescheduled and stumbled across pocket prep. Using this app and only this app, I went thru all 1,500+ questions over and over for about a month. Went in this week to retest and scored a 96%!!! Couldn’t be happier!!!! My update
Well, I will have to take back my initial review of this app, it wasn’t very fair. I have taken the exam and happy with the result. I made 90 and above in all sections except for Reading where I made 84. I will say it helped me because it gave me the opportunity to practice all I have studied, especially because most of the questions were based on the Evolve study guide.
