Glitches But I passed w/93!
I used this app the months leading up to my exam (along with the HESI Elsevier book, McGraw Hill Book & App) and I got a 93. My score break down is at the bottom. The app glitches like crazy but it really was the best for studying and being prepared. The other apps I used were WAY too in-depth and made me nervous. My average score in the app was 88% (I mainly used it for sciences). My last science classes were over 6 years ago so this really helped with review. Buy the full version. If it starts to freeze I just deleted the app and redownloaded it and it would work smoothly for a little bit. Frustrating but so worth passing.

Hesi A2 review
This app was very useful when it came to studying. I was initially very nervous to take the exam the second time because I wasn’t successful on my first try. I downloaded this app and studied the book as well and I passed! I would say to not solely rely on the app on itself, but also use other resources. Disappointed
I bought the app and used it to prepare for the Hesi along with the Elsevier practice book. I felt so confident going into the test as I studied quite a bit and was getting in the 90s consistently in the bio and chem areas(I aced the other required areas and passed bio the first time in the high 80s). Took the test again this morning and did the science sections first. The practice questions for bio were in no way an indication of what would be on the test. I missed it by 3 points. Chem was slightly better; I passed, but did not do as well as expected. If the company that makes pocketprep also develops the exams, I don’t understand how there is such a discrepancy in what is covered. It’s a great study tool but it keeps crashing
I love this app. I take my HESI in a little over a week from now. This app has helped me to study but it keeps on crashing. I’ll be in the middle of taking a practice quiz and it will just crash it of the blue and I’ll lose my progress. Other than that, this app is a great study tool.
Update: I took my HESI today and I passed with a 92 overall! Reading was an 88, grammar was a 90, math was a 94 (most similar to test), and A&P was a 96 (somewhat similar to the test). This app definitely works😊😊😊Show lessB1281
Worth the buy
Passed my Hesi A2 today only using this app. I feel like it prepared me enough to pass the exam with an 86.5! I only need a 75%. I underprepared for the grammar, vocab, and comprehension so that’s where I scored the lowest. The first time I took the hesi i failed the chemistry part so thats what I focused on the most. This app really does help you a lot. there were some questions on the actual hesi that I did not see on this app such as finding the right balanced equation for chemistry. Not user friendly
I have a hard time understanding this app. It is kind-of annoying. Questions are same repetitive. U cannot omit the subjects u do not need. Unable to select my choices of exam. It needs improvement. The mcgraw hesi A2 is a lot easier to navigate than this one. There are not much choices to use on this app. Also there is no where to write notes or questions.Show lessshenyatwood
Just get it!
So I just took my HESI exam yesterday and with only a week and a half to study, I passed the first time! I’m so happy and along with going through the book, I found this app and it really helped! Used this app religiously for about a month until it started to freeze on me. Fortunately I finished every question in the test banks before the freezing started to happen. Totally worth the money though, 90% on reading, 86% math, 86% grammar, and 86% on vocab! You will need the hesi assessment version 4 for new vocab words! Use the book and the app and you'll be fine! Do the reading test first so you're awake for it and your brain hasn't been fried from math and grammar!Show lessahmadhayt
AMAZING
Thank you thank you!!! This app was so helpful in helping me pass along with other materials and classes! Best $14 I have ever spent. I took this test back in January and that was a mess, I studied with this program more and wrote down the notes from questions I got wrong and it taught me so much more. I felt so much better walking into this test than I did the first time and it showed!!!
The sections covered on my exam were math, reading, and AP. Is only used the app for AP along with finishing AP2, hesi help books, and anatomy books. Lots of hard work but it paid off!Show lessBrittanyRz
Ok but needs work!
The app has overall been a good study guide for the Hesi but it crashes and logs me out a lot. I have tried refreshing and reinstalling and it always tells me I’m not logged in and sometimes it takes a while to load. At this point I’m starting to wonder if it was even worth purchasing since it takes for ever to load. It takes overall 20min to get started while it logs in, everything refreshes and for the test to get prepared.Show lessvickitoria25
