  • Can’t access my information anymore

    Was an update and now it just refreshes back to password screen. Nothing wrong with my info. Just loops back to Home Screen. Can’t locate a nearby bank or contact the bank about my problems using this app. Not sure why I’m even bothering here. This bank continuously screws this app up and makes changes that make almost no sense and in some cases are even severely inconvenient to the user themself like being able to access other account info that is no longer retrievable.

    I feel this bank should employ a new tech company to design and implement this app. It’s pure junk. Every time you try to log on it crashes. If you can’t get your app to work then how are we suppose to have confidence your online security is good? Fix this app. People should be able to access their bank accounts without having to call the actual bank or walk into one of your banks. With how much you pay interest on savings accounts compared to other banks you should have money to fix this app.

  • Getting worse?!?

    How is it possible to get worse?
    Now I cannot even deposit checks through the app.

    I pulled $25k out of your bank last week. Once my CD matures $40k more is coming out.

    Then I’m paying off my mortgage and running away from hometown bank and closing all my accounts.

    You should be ashamed of not being able to get a basic online banking app working in 2023!!

  • Patience needed when using this app

    The new app is frustrating to use. Once you get into the app, it’s okay. But it takes a handful of times to log into the app using Face ID. It always crashes at least a couple of times before you’re finally able to log in to the app. Then if you try to look at recent transactions or use zelle, it will say unexpected error and force you to log back in. Never had these issues until the new update was released. If the log in is fixed and the random crashes stop occurring, then the app is great!

  • I’m going to change banks

    After being a customer of bank hometown for more than 10 years, this app is going to cause me to move all my accounts to another bank. It is unusable and it is how I do my banking. Please wake up and realize this will cost you customers!

    Seriously. Fix this useless app. I can’t use my phone to do any of my banking anymore.

    Next stop social media platforms and news outlets. Please do something to retain your customers.

  • Useless

    Every time you sign in it crashes and closes the app. The second time you sign in it works. Then if you want to pay a bill or Zelle someone…guess what? It crashes. Next time- don’t update the app. I don’t know what “bugs” you were fixing. You made everything worse

  • BEST BANK!

    bankHometown is a good neighbor bank, who is always willing to go above and beyond for customers. The app does a wonderful job allowing me to transfer money between accounts, and to others through Zelle! To top it off, due to me traveling a lot, the app allows me to put travel notifications in through the app whenever I am out of state or out of the country!
