Nice Reliable Weather System
I have had this weather station for about 2+ years now and I have owned others but this one stands out from all the rest. It always stays online and updates the weather station automatically. The only downside about this weather station Is that it is a bit pricey to get-but once you buy it that’s all you will need to have a good reliable WIFI Weather Station that will last for years to come. I’ve used a number of weather stations in the past and this has one of the best displays. I use a 10” Fire tablet and it is very legible from across the room. But I just added the rain gauge and am disappointed. It requires one to swipe the temperature portion to see rain totals. There is tons of real estate on the display to include the rain and even wind values. I guess I won’t be purchasing the anemometer after all.
Also, there doesn’t appear to be any way to send feedback or comments to the developer. Bad formShow lessPeteyx
Widget time issue
No big issues with the app itself, but the widgets that show how old the weather data is does not update past a certain point. When I check the widget and see conditions data that is obviously an hour or more old, the widget says “14 min. ago” in the upper right corner. Something is preventing the widget from showing the correct time since the last refresh. I have never seen a time greater than 14 minutes.
Also, there’s no way to submit a question on the help page if you live in the U.S. You’re redirected to a Legrande site that doesn’t list Netatmo at all.Show lessDon Keysho
iOS 16 issues on iPhone 14 pro
The app seems to be causing an issue that causes my iPhone to over heat while not being plugged in. It’s even worse when charging, I’ve opened a support ticket and have not seen any response yet so hopefully there is movement soon.Pingjockey
App is lacking
Hardware works well. The app is really disappointing. I had to download a third-party app just to get total rainfalls, since this app only shows current day. The whole reason I bought this system was to see total rainfalls by month and year. Also, the bottom half of the app is meant to swipe to a map of other weather stations, but it’s so zoomed in I just always see a map, which is not that useful and not my priority. The app is a reason I would not recommend this system to anyone.Show lessJon.HHH
Forecast Data Missing
Have been a customer for a long time but recently the forecast data has intermittently been missing. Talked with Customer Support via email and they basically said there was nothing they could do. The forecast data comes from an outside source and if it is missing at my location there is nothing they can do about that.
To say the provider is the issue in this day and age of Data is a wrong. Data should be constantly available from the provider. If they have periodic outages of data that is not a good provider that shows well for your product.
For your engineers to say there is nothing they can do about it might be true but it shouldn’t end there. It makes your product look bad. Engineers should never be the final word. What does your Marketing say? Do they approve of missing forecast data?
If you pay a fee to this provider then you have leverage to have them correct the issue.Show lessHDBitchin
Work as described
The iOS netatmo weather station application. contains amazing feature performance that provides up to date weather information wireless communication. But through all of the technological side of the product. their is something definitely missing from all of the user experience. App is utterly useless
Idk if this an iOS16 bug but having to reset the weather station due to my home being deleted (thanks Apple) every time I try to set the device up, it fails to find it. Home can see it but because the sticker is no longer valid (never was valid the day I got it due to it being a return item), there’s no way to add it back.
Going through the app just results in never finding the accessory. 20 factory resets later and nothing. iOS15 + app = Also never shows up. The entire station is now a 300$ waste of (albeit small) space. So much for reliability. Save your breathe and go with something like eve or a Homebridge based system.Show lessWardsParadox

I’ll keep this short but it works well. No set up issues and had to reconnect one module once in 6-months. Gives us peace of mind when (pre-Covid) traveling as well. Data retention also very useful too if you’re into to that (e.g. was able to use the temp data details to determine that my waking up in the middle of the night was due to the temp set too high).Show lessMike and Joy
