This app is great it has multiple lesson it shows the Japanese characters and has pictures. It also has the words in english characters so that you can read what the picture is,and it pronounces the words so you know how to say them. The best part is the tests at the end of the lesson they show how well you are doing.

Good...
It's really good for people that are just starting out like my self. But something's I fell that could make this better:
~have how you say the word under it and have it highlight the part that it is saying along with the recording.
~slow down the speech just a bit.
That was all I could think of to help with it. But there was one thing that I truly didn't like. That you need to get codes to get lessons. But it's also kind of cool. It makes you think if it's truly worth looking around for codes just to learn Japanese. It makes you work for your lessons.

The adds and non easy access ruin it
I am totally addicted to anime and wanted to learn Japanese, besides using subtitles. Then I came across this app! I love this! It's easy to use and makes me grow in self confidence when I get everything right! The only thing that would make it better would be if it were easier to access lessons and if there was a cleaner interface on like a pro app u could get. 99c for no adds and an easier way to get lessons!!!

Helpful for learners
Easy way to help learn Japanese.
Good clean vocabulary fun
It's nice to be able to hear pronunciation and learn vocab this way. There are tests for each set of vocab so you can go back and test yourself quickly. It's not tedious to learn in this format. Lessons are bite size so you aren't overwhelmed. I've enjoyed using it so far!
FYI- this will not teach you how to write kanji. You will see some kanji characters occasionally but it doesn't break down stroke pattern.

Best app!!!!
I've been trying to learn Japanese for a month and I only know one sentence because I said it so much that I memorized it. Now I have only had this app for a day and I have learned over 40 words but I have been on it all day wanting to learn as much as I can. It shows you the pictures, the characters, and it tells you the word which really helps a lot!!!

This app is so awesome, especially because I was studying Japanese before I saw this app on the App Store so I started using it a lot but then something went wrong with it and I had to delete it and get it again but I didn't have to pay for the extra lessons again!but that's alright!
