Latest app is disappointing previous features missing
Regular customer of Blueline using the app around 5 times a week with no issues until the new version which I updated this morning.
As things stand I no longer appear to be able to add a tip when booking and I can’t find anywhere to save my regular addresses for trips to favourites. The app is also less instinctive to navigate than it previously was with less features. Trying to work out if your taxi is on the way took some doing. Previously it was really clear.
Overall disappointing.
I am now paying a waiting charge. Now given that I was outside prior to taxis arrival I know it wasn’t a waiting charge so I assume it’s the standing charge that is on the meter at the start of the journey so I recommend renaming this as it’s misleading.
The absence of a clearly signposted tip function is the thing which disappoints me the most. Like many people I don’t really carry cash since COVID, but equally I have been brought up to always tip taxi drivers. Updated the app today and have had to take two journeys where I had no means of adding a tip which leaves me feeling incredibly uncomfortable. Neither of my drivers seemed to be clear either on if I’d paid suggesting the app is less intuitive at their end too.
I really hope the app is tweaked quickly as it’s such a reduction in service from the previous version that I am considering switching taxi companies

It's a cab but electronically managed. I love the fact that I can use the ride to multiple places without the driver complaining.

Quality service as always but paid cash and charged through apple also so paid twice!! Hope this can be remedied as I Would hate to leave a bad review
Safe trip for my son
Put my 11 year old in the taxi on his own for the first time which I was nervous about. He said the driver was nice, was also glad I could track the journey for my peace of mind
Terrible app and taxi service has gone down hill
Absolutely terrible app, charges your card then doesn’t book your journey. Only to be told by staff it’ll be refunded, but that takes up to 30 days, and you have to pay again.
Also notified in advance I was travelling with a dog that would sit in the supplied bed I brought, but driver insisted dog had to sit on the floor making for an extremely uncomfortable journey. Won’t be using again!

App is shocking - even when you pre book it still doesn’t start looking for a driver until 10 minutes before you need to travel, often resulting in being very late. Long waits, expensive prices, and often haven’t allocated drives for taxis I booked days in advance, causing me to have to walk home late at night. Wouldn’t recommend the app.

Who is coming in terms of car not the actual person (that be creepy)
Takes away the need to have that awkward phone call to a dispatcher (if like me you are socially awkward)

No matter where I book or how I pay; “something went wrong”
App has been completely useless for me, five separate occasions now I’ve tried to use it for different destinations. I’ve tried to use two cards to pay native on the app, I’ve tried to use Apple Pay.
Literally every time post payment confirmation the app immediately goes “something went wrong”, completely useless.

App is rubbish
Can’t fault blueline,but the app is a pile of rubbish! My home address is on the app and every time i book a taxi from my home address it puts the number two doors down!! Sick of changing it and also have known it to bounce back to cash payment on my receipt when I selected card payment and I’m at the destination arguing with the driver because I have no cash!
Also “estimated price” is way out! Estimated me £19-£21 and the final fare was £33!!!

Best taxi service
During this pandemic ( Covid ) I’ve had to use a taxi a fair few times, Phoenix taxis are the other company around my area.
Hands down blue line are the best, there cheaper, friendlier, but what impressed me was the operator told me they were short on drivers in my area when I booked one, then rang me when it was due to update me, yes it was 25 minutes late but during these times it’s understandable, hats off to Blueline and there customer service, Highly recommended!!
