Data balance issue fixed

Thank you for releasing a new version in such a short time frame, that now actually works- the main problem with the last version was not being able to view the data balance for the month - but this has now been fixed- job well done!

Response from developer

Hey T.H.Stark, I am so sorry to hear that your experience with our new app is poor. We have tested the App on several devices. Can you describe the issues you are experiencing?

Fixed wireless usage not working!!

With the new release, the fixed wireless (RAIN) usage indicator is broken/incorrect and the detailed stats just shows available 50GB left for the last 2 months...

Missing features

I chose Afrihost as my provider predominantly on the mobile app they offer. In this version I cannot find my IP address or have better visibility on data usage. I need my IP address as I use cameras remotely at an unmanned site. Please improve this app

Available Data still showing Incorrectly

I have to go to the web as the data shown in the App is wrong. It also does not decrease with usage.

No longer a native app, just a horrible mess now.

The app is terrible since the new update! How do you take an app that works so well and botch it up like this? I can’t see my data balance for rain fixed wireless... it’s almost as if this thing hasn’t been tested. Another nail in Afrihost’s coffin for me.

“Detailed” Usage

Offers even less detail than the previous version.

Ok I guess, but...

The App is ok I guess, but I really think that any potential future update should include a way of submitting a “Support Ticket” from the App. I’m actually surprised that something so simple, is not already implemented!!

Usage

When will you allow us to check our fibre uncapped usage on the app?

it works

What about linking the iphone contact list to the app "usage" page to see names instead of telephone numbers? also allowing to group the same number to see a summary of the calls and totals spent per contact.

Login problematic for some

I experienced the same issue that others wrote about, i.e. that the password field is hidden behind the keyboard pop-up. However, a workaround is to try login with only your email address which will place you back at the login screen after an error message. Since the email is already in the first field, the 'curser' will now be in the password field (though it may be hidden), so you can type it in and select 'Remember Password".

Once in the app I found it to be very basic but OK. Bandwidth etc can be viewed and purchased as on the website edition of Afrihost. I think abetter job must be made of the login screen since it is obviously very annoying to others and 'workarounds' as I suggested should NOT be necessary.

Compared to the generally excellent service from Afrihost, this app is rather a letdown from the front-page splash advert that promises much but then delivers little. It CAN however be an excellent tool if they pay more attention to detail and functionality.
