  • Good App

It's interesting especially the sometimes speculative comments
  • The Fall of the once great Daily Mirror.

I have read the Daily Mirror since it was in print and for over 25 years so it is habitual I still read it but boy has it fallen. Like tanked BAD. I remember when you USED to win awards and have great consistent front pages of breaking news. Comment’s constantly deactivated if you are not on the Daily Meghan hate train. Constantly posting articles copy and pasted off other social media. Obsessed with reality TV stars and Z listers. A severe lack of actual news from actual journalists and roving reporters. Clearly run by men who despise women as most articles are there to degrade or put down those with an ounce of success. It is verging on propaganda with no room for alternative views or actual world news. Clickbait headlines with rarely an ounce of truth or content. Ohhh and the app and website no longer show your notifications which is probably for the best as most of my engagement is ‘disabled’ and ‘deactivated’. This will probably mysteriously disappear too! Lol

  • Disappointed with the changes

Unable to change news article by swiping sideways now. Don’t like the new layout
  • Keeps freezing

I’m in Australia and used to love the app but it now keeps freezing and I can’t scroll. After reading others with problems it’s evident the problem starts at your end.
  • Nice new look but

The inconsistency in moderating is still a thing. The apparent simping for certain celebrities shows in the way the boards are moderated. And as for the writing, well, the Pulitzer committee doesn’t need to bother.
  • Crashes within seconds and gets stuck on comments

    September

Currently the app is crashing the minute I open it, or shortly when just starting to a read a story. It’s been like this for a couple of weeks, it usually happens when an app update needs doing but there isn’t one. I’m completely unable to use the app. Another issue I had prior to this was with the comments, there were times when reading them the button to return back to the story would simply vanish, resulting in me having to fully come out of the app and have to scroll through to find the story again. Mirror, please sort this app out, it’s useless…

    Update November

STILL crashing! I even went through all the trouble of emailing the developers with a screen recording showing the issue, as I’d seen a reply further down on someone else’s review recommending this. No reply from them and no reply from the people on here, which I find really rude. Been left with no choice but to permanently delete this app, and use an alternative newspaper.

  • Excellent news

    Excellent Quality content
  • Mediocre App

The app is mediocre at best. The censorship in the comments section, is totally out of order. If people use fouls language, swears words. The word rubbish isn’t a swear word, surely describing the game as rubbish, isn’t offensive, it’s a fact.

It’s time to delete the app, there are many other really good football apps out there, without this over the top censorship.

    Developer Response

Hi, we'd like to apologise for the inconvenience caused. We're aware of the issues with the new comment section and we're working on to improve that, the first step is to bring a native experience back to the app like it used to be, this will solve most of the issues users are experiencing. In regards to the content, unfortunately, there's nothing we can do as this is under the power of the Editorial Team. You can contact them at webnews@mirror.co.uk and raise your complaints so we can improve in the future. Regards, The ReachPLC App Team
  • No Search function

Deleted it. If I can’t search keywords it’s useless to me
  • App doesn’t work properly

I haven’t been able to go on this app for weeks because ever time I open a story it shuts down.
