Essential for road trips
We discovered this app halfway through our French roadtrip and used it every night for the remainder. A great network of sites that give you peace of mind as you know they are safe and secure with other campers.
The app is pretty good, one of the best I’ve come across for this type of thing - would be great if you could sign in by phone number as I didn’t put my email in when I first got the card and so can’t actually get into my account. Also ability to translate all reviews and incorporate google maps to find camps near to where you’re heading.

It’s always great when you need to plan a journey that you can find nd places to stay that have enough room and are easy to find.

App not working
Unable to pre-book, keeps throwing an error saying problem with server or the park is not available to pre-book despite the calendar showing availability. No option to place reviews in order of newest or to translate reviews from other countries. Unable to copy and paste the text either to translate on Google.

Hey mixed feelings !!
You can book in advance an hour before if you want to, does not have to be three days in advance. We often book ahead when we are on our way to a site.
DO NOT USE !!
The “network” of sites is google searchable sites in France. This app eats money and won’t return it. May be great value for Brits, but Aussies steer well clear! You can just pay at the gate for ALL of these sites.
Not the best
Map view isn’t showing dejected Aires when I click on a location. Surely a card is old technology and we should be able use our phones now?

What is the point?
Had the app, but no time to get the card. By accident we found a place but not having a card we had to set up another account in order to obtain a card.
On another occasion we could not gain acces.
No mention that you can’t book unless we have the privilege card.
The reviews can’t be highlighted to tranlate.
Now it also turns out we can’t put money on the card without privilege card? I feel it is a bit of a rip of with no clear instructions

Great app, but only when it works!
Don’t load any money in this app. It let me register, set up some money in the account and now the app won’t work ; the log in page is just forever loading. Very annoying

We have been traveling in France and the CCP service is great.
However we miss some functions in the iOS app
- quickly find/see on map marked locations
- auto translate reviews to a preferred language

Ideal travel app for touring
We used this app whilst touring France for 2 months. Quick and easy to find stop overs with or without facilities. You can book in advance but we never needed too. Easy to read reviews by other user’s and facilities true to what they say. Always hot water on site where showers are, I’m sure that some at some point where not working but we never came across them. Worth joining for 5 euros.
