It’s buggy. Save your money
I was really rooting for this app. But it’s so buggy it’s almost useless. When u add one site, it adds it three or four or ten and keeps growing over time. So after 2 sites you’re full.
Within a day the takes long to load. It has created itself with so many duplicates.
Managing sites doesn’t do anything when u delete the duplicates so you’re left with having to uninstall and start all over again.Show lessCSlug007

I write as an amateur astronomer of modest experience, but to date this is the best Astro app I’ve used.
It is clear, sleek & very user friendly; the notifications are great for letting you know what’s happening & when - this is particularly useful when you have limited time for observations & have to ‘pre-book’ your ‘astro moments’.

Sites are a pain to delete
The program randomly fills up the site list with everything you click on. Then the sites take forever to delete. Why would it allow you to add the same site more than once? Also, why not have a “clear all” for the sites? It’s a bit frustrating that for the cost, it’s not a bit more functional.hdhjdjfjjfjfjf

Scope nights app
Used this app now for two years and is very accurate! Once it said poor and the sky was clear so I set up my scope and by the time of sunset I was completely clouded in! When it says good it’s clear and when it says poor it’s cloudy! Can’t ask better than that. I highly recommend it.Blamy

Many thanks for your previous Scope Nights feedback. Just to let you know Scope Nights 2.5 is now available on the App Store and is fully compatible with iOS 11 and backward compatible with iOS 9. Since version 2.4 Scope Nights has also contained no In App Purchases and has full functionality. If you find time to try Scope Nights 2.5 it would be much appreciated if you could update your App Store review. Thanks again & clear skies!IOS 11 broke it but developer fixed it
I inadvertently re-clicked a previous review about this issue. Please delete it if you can. Glad to have this app working again. I’ve been using it for years and it is still the best I have found for planning my observing.allen456

Many thanks for your Scope Nights feedback. Unfortunately iOS 11 Location Services was not backward compatible so it caused Scope Nights 2.4 to crash. Despite this setback I’ve managed to release a free app update and Scope Nights 2.5 is now available on the App Store and is fully compatible with iOS 11.
