Buggy
Dear Quizlet,
I love your app and have used it all the time so I decided to get Quizlet plus to further utilize practice tests and really delve into the study guide feature where I can use ai and scan notes-you know, just that type of stuff. But whenever I scan my notes recently, it just crashes. I also hate how in order to look at the study guides I have to go on to a browser on my phone because it will try and force me to go back to the app and then when I finally get it to stay on the browser, I have to sign in each time which is really annoying. It used to work well when I first decided to get Quizlet plus and everything, but then after some recent updates, it just quit working. Honestly, if your team just worked out those bugs and crashes I would continue to love this app like I did but dealing with these issues takes away from the great things that I love about this app and I hate that. Also, if you could make it so we can just view the study guides in the app itself that would be a huge bonus as well. Thank you all for your app and years of service for helping struggling high school (and college) students out!
Best regards, Critical Gentleman

Impossible to use since AI pivot
I’ve been using Quizlet to study languages for at least 6 years, and the switch to AI implementation has made it borderline unusable for me. While the standard flashcard feature still works fine, the option to paste text in has been completely ruined. It used to be that I could paste vocab and English definitions in, and Quizlet would detect separators like a dash or semicolon and automatically make the flashcards. Now, however, doing that automatically generates a ChatGPT study guide which I don’t need, and has nothing to do with what I’m actually studying, and I can’t turn this off. The automatic flashcards now take over 10 minutes to generate because they’re also being ran through ChatGPT, when in the past it could do it in seconds, and most infuriatingly of all it insists on loading these sets in the browser which defeats the point of even having the app. It also crashes frequently whilst using Learn mode. I always used Quizlet because it was cheaper than Anki but I’m sick to death of being forced into using AI that I don’t want or need and so will be transferring my sets to an alternative.

Good for school, but has a big bug
I hope they read my review to fix this bug, whenever I click on a new set of terms/flashcards or whatever, of anybody’s (even mine), it will stay stuck on the loading screen or like it has the loading symbol saying it’s loading when it’s just frozen and I cannot click on anything. I have to reset the whole app every time I open a new set or go to a brand new set of terms or flash cards made by anyone. It’s not a big of a deal but it does get repetitive and annoying after a while. I have multiple sets I add to a folder for studying for a certain class, but I can’t click on each set without it freezing and having to restart the whole app just for it to work and get into it again properly.
Otherwise, the app is really good for studying using flashcards. I have had no troubles creating flashcards so far or adding sets into my folders. I just wish it was less buggy. I am also on an iPad. I’ve always used Quizlet since high school and I really like it, but the website version is far more superior (obviously). But I hope they fix this bug on their mobile app.

Best study review app
As a student studying Astronomy, this app has been exponential in remembering concepts in an intuitive and mostly accurate way. I am definitely going to be paying the annual cost for this, as the app shows great potential.
Some qualms.. the import feature sometimes bugs, which flashes the screen before you press the view online option. Then the slides that are clearly on your iPad have to be viewed online and reimported and reformatted.
Sync is a bit buggy, sometimes when you import study material it doesn’t show or recognise it and you have to reimport it.
AI is good, but needs refinement, as it sometimes focuses on irrelevant detail, but that’s manually fixable in flashcards format.
Otherwise brilliant app, looking forward to seeing the refinements, and what you will add to it.

Rating quizlet
There is no doubt that quizlet is a great learning tool and I am very grateful that there are ways for me to learn other languages easily, but I am slightly annoyed about the flashcards. I am using the flashcards to learn french, and I have put little french phrases and definitions into the cards, but instead of starting on the french phrase, it automatically goes to the English phrase, so it tells me the answer before i even get to guess.
Other than that, quizlet is an underrated learning tool, and should definitely be used more by students.

My favourite app !
Now and again over several years I’ve tried other card apps but I’ve always returned to Quizlet. The flash card sets are entirely personalised to my study needs, since I put in all the data. Very occasionally I have downloaded another’s learners set if it’s well written and saves me time, then modified it to fit my requirements. But generally I write my own, and keep a monthly set where I input words and phrases of the day.
There are a variety of ways to learn and retain the information to suit learning preferences; writing mode and flashcards on auto scroll are the ones I use the most. It’s also been interesting to use the newer features that have evolved such as AI, it has certainly challenged me to do better. Quizlet has made learning enjoyable for me, like playing a game. I’ve been able to advance to intermediate level in learning French and credit Quizlet for helping me get there.
The audio translation has improved a lot over the years and this is key to language learning. Like all apps problems arise periodically but the team has been responsive and generally resolve issues quickly or otherwise in due course.
It’s great that I can use this app both online and offline, I’ve always got something to look at or work on anywhere, anytime.

This app is not sigma
This app literally fanum taxed 20$ off of me. Do not recommend if you are an alpha. This app only deserves betas.
Used to love
Used to be a great app. I don’t know what happened but I’m trying to study for my licensing exam & the app is essentially useless at this point. I try to use the learn function to study the things that I’m still learning and every time I click on it, it says I’ve studied everything. When I click on practice more, it won’t go through more than 7 cards at a time before I have to do that process again. The app is also very slow all of a sudden, it lags like crazy. I did the update and it didn’t fix anything. Really disappointed, I need the app now more than I ever have before

amazing
This app is very convenient and helpful. My only wish is that they would make inserting images for free instead of being behind Quizlet Premium.
