An amazing, must-have app!
I really love this app. To be honest I haven’t spent much time reading the descriptions, although I should. But looking at a new piece of art every day is very therapeutic. It’s a very well-designed app with a straightforward purpose. I also really appreciate the ability to favorite different works so you can go back to them later. This app is definitely a must-have if you like art.

The Art lacks diversity
I absolutely love art and downloaded this app to dive deeper into art. The app does a wonderful job at telling you about the art work and the history behind the art piece to give it some context which is great! My only critique is that the app itself lacks diversity in both the art work shown and artist featured . I had this app for nearly a year and have not seen any artwork from any person of color being featured . The art being featured is predominantly Eurocentric which we all know is not the only type of art that exists out there. Showing artists and art types from every continent, would make this app a 5 star art app.

Great app for beginners
If you are new to art and don’t know where to start, this is a great first leap. Everyday there is a new piece of art, it could be a painting, a sculpture, ceramic or glass piece, everyday is something new and refreshing. Right under the art is the title, artist, and a brief description. The app is easy to navigate and you can set reminders so you can never forget you daily dose of art💕. Stay inspired. 🎨

Love the idea, hate the lack of diversity
First of all I want to say that I love the idea behind this app. Getting to learn about a different art piece each day is such a joy, and this app does a great job of delivering that experience. But I’m sad to say that there is almost a complete disregard for works outside of the western canon. This month there was only ONE non western work, unless you count that painting Van Gogh copied from a Japanese woodcut (eyeroll). This app has the great potential to be showcasing a rich variety of cultures and societies to a wide reaching modern audience, but alas, ignorance prevails. A similar problem lies in the daily descriptions, which are usually informative and straightforward, but sometimes offer pointless commentary. Are we really calling a painting of a woman’s bare chest ‘disturbing?’ I’ll continue using this app because I love learning about a different artwork everyday, but please please please add works from other cultures. This is already a huge problem in the art history world, and this app is just contributing to it!

DailyArt inspires!
DailyArt blesses my life each and every day ! I have my favorites, as a Renaissance Art educator, but each day I discover more and more interesting art included in my favorites or extending my knowledge and delight.
I’ve viewed art in many world class museums (US & Europe). DailyArt often includes objects of my experience and desire.
Cannot get enough of Fra Angelico, Masaccio, Caravaggio, Vermeer, and other favorites, but DailyArt opens my eyes to find more new favorites. abush

Fantastic app
I don’t often write reviews for apps. So when I do, it’s because I’m impressed with it or it’s terrible. This app is brilliant. I’ve given it a five-star feedback because I literally can’t fault it. Depending on your expectations I guess but it has certainly met my own & pleased me further still. The art presented as an image is perfectly clear. I can save those images if I want, onto my camera roll without any problems at all. I can share the daily art & attached information easily with others via WhatsApp & other means. When I have finished the article to the daily image, it provides a link or more if you’re interested to other articles in order to understand the artist or their work more. I used the app for a couple of days before deciding to upgrade & pay a few quid for this. It’s totally worth it. I really enjoy using this app & it’s very easy to use. I might suggest the app icon could be changed instead of looking quite so cartoony but that isn’t a negative. Perhaps just a personal preference.

Very Nice App
A few minor problems (for me) getting started... however, it was just a learning curve of getting used to the app.
The app is great. I know almost nothing about art, but I do love the works that are in here! Also, I appreciate the editor’s comments about each piece and the I can get a full screen view of it. Each day there is one featured piece and that makes me start my day just a little more upbeat!
Thank you developer. Nicely done!! Well worth every penny.

Awesome app
Breath of Fresh Air
This is so far from the usual fare—productivity, music, news or health apps—it is a breath of fresh air! Daily paintings, which you can capture or use as screen savers, and with a description and history. And you can favour them, and thus go back to them later.
I rarely log in every day, but they’re there, after a week or a month. I go in to it when I’m hassled or frustrated, and it sets me right.
