No Chromecast

Love the content, but there’s no option to Chromecast, which is disappointing. I definitely would use the app a lot more if I could easily cast it to my TV.

We hope to add certain functionality -- including Chromecast -- back to the TED app in the future, but candidly, we're currently constrained by resource limitations that have paused app development indefinitely. We hope to return to active development soon -- we're grateful for your patience!

Great content but the app is a bit broken

I like to browse the home page as I listen to Ted talks. After minimizing it and clicking on the bottom bar the video plays in a small screen mode in the middle of the screen. But the pause, close and fast forward button don’t quite work, making it a terrible experience.
