FPL

None of the FPL partner chargers show up on the map. All filters are set properly. FPL chargers cannot be used by this app.

Be very cautious

Just got a brand new ev and thought I would add some money to the account. Went to charge now at 3 different locations and every time I keep getting network error.
Tried the native charger app and no issues. Also this outfit charges you an extra fee on top of the usage.
Works great if all you want to do is find a charging station.

Fictional

1/10 listed charging ‘stations’ are real. Most listed stations are in private residences. Wall outlets are listed as ‘stations’. Worthless.

Response from developer

Thank you for sharing your feedback. I’m sorry to hear about your experience and the frustration it caused. At ChargeHub, we strive to provide accurate and reliable information to help EV drivers find charging solutions. Most of our listings come directly from public charging networks, shared via APIs that include live status updates. While our platform also includes other types of charging options, such as private businesses or standard outlets shared by users, we understand how important it is to clearly differentiate these from public stations. We are continuously working to enhance the accuracy and clarity of our listings to make the platform as helpful as possible. If you’ve encountered specific locations or listings that you believe are inaccurate, we’d be grateful if you could share them with us at support@chargehub.com. Your input helps us improve for everyone. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope you’ll give ChargeHub another chance in the future.

Surcharges

This app is great for its functionality and the ability to have all charging networks into one app. However, why should I pay a surcharge just to activate a charger? It asks for $1.50 just to activate a free charger in my area. Also, I was charged $0.50 just to add funds because of “international transaction”. All this nickel and diming seems like trying to buy an airplane ticket. I rather use first party apps to avoid those surcharges.

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback and for highlighting the value you find in ChargeHub’s functionality. We’re glad you appreciate having multiple networks consolidated into one app—it’s what we aim for! Regarding the surcharges, we understand your concerns. The $1.25 interoperability fee covers the costs associated with processing transactions, including network fees, app development, and maintaining the platform. For free chargers, this fee is primarily for ensuring seamless access and support across various charging networks. As for the $0.50 “international transaction” fee, this is unfortunately imposed by some banks or payment processors rather than by ChargeHub. We are actively looking for ways to minimize these additional costs for our users. We value your input and are always looking for ways to improve the user experience. If you have further suggestions or questions, feel free to reach out to us at [support email]. We’d love the chance to provide a smoother experience for you in the future. Thank you again for using ChargeHub and for taking the time to share your thoughts! Best regards,

Great Company

I used this app when Budget only had EV cars available. PSA: do not rent an EV in Florida, chargers are few and far between and most are super slow. The only positive part of the experience was this App. The info in the App was very helpful as I tried to navigate using an EV for the first time.

Hello, we're so happy to hear that the ChargeHub app was part of your trip and helped make it a little easier!

Review

App has never let me down as others have. Very happy.

Response from developer

We are very happy to hear that your find the ChargeHub app helpful and reliable! Thank you so much for the 5 stars review :)

CarPlay Functionality Doesn’t Work

I created an account & marked a bunch of chargers on an upcoming road trip as favourites so I could find them easily on the CarPlay version. On my iPhone I see the favourited chargers but on CarPlay it’s just a black blank screen. Useless if you’re the driver, you can’t look at your phone while driving. Also the CarPlay version only displays the map & nearby chargers & they don’t even list availability on CarPlay. Absolutely useless.

Terrible

Logging on was a pain. Also why do you even need a password to find where charging stations are. EV other than Tesla are not ready for prime time

Response from developer

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m sorry to hear that logging in was frustrating for you. We understand that convenience is key, and we’re constantly working to streamline the experience, including making the login process smoother. As for requiring a password, it helps ensure that your personalized data—like saved charging stations, trip planning, payment information and charger availability—are secure and available across all your devices. That way, you can have a more seamless experience tailored to your preferences. We appreciate your thoughts on the current state of EVs, and we're committed to improving the charging infrastructure and user experience to support all EV drivers. If you have any further questions or suggestions, please feel free to reach out. We're here to help!

Pretty solid

This is my go-to multi-network charger hunting app. It doesn’t have a bunch of ad noise and it has a pretty good collection of networks, and a decent enough interface, to the point that I don’t have any major complaints. It mostly just works and doesn’t annoy me, and that’s a real plus.

Response from developer

Thank you for your 5-stars rating! We appreciate your comments :)

Great Search & Filtering Stations

I would like to see Apple Pay as an option to add funds into the app. I’d rather not have to add my own credit card information into the app.

Response from developer

Hello, this is a feature that we are hoping can be implementing in the future. But until then, rest assured that all our credit card transactions are being processed by global payment processing company in a secure matter.
