This app will calculate these and hundreds of other scenarios for you. Our app works in both metric and imperial measurements. After you've used the calculator to determine the correct answer, you can email results of those calculations including an attached screen capture so you have a permanent record of your data. All data is automatically saved to app, so you will not lose your data unless you choose to select delete. The images and notes are saved with app for future reference. Notes can be emailed to you for a permanent reference and printed from your email client. Includes 4 unlimited database systems for record keeping. Reviews of Slope Calculator

  • Site development

I bought this to make quick elevation and slope changes. Works great for in field site work along with structure and pipe elevations. It is a simple calculator that has an algorithm. I love it!
  • Glorified calculator

I needed an app that automatically measures distance and slope. This app does the same as a normal calculator; everything has to be put in manually. Not worth the double digit price!

    Developer Response

Thanks for the feedback. Many contractors / students / homeowners do not use these types of calculations often enough to remember the formula to calculate slopes, elevations etc. I designed this app for that specific reason. I guess, it is a glorified calculator, but I guess you could say that for thousands of other apps on the app store. I'd like to think the app has a clean easy to use interface that provides worthwhile information to the end user. I'm not sure of any iPhone device having the ability to measure distance / slope accurately without actually using survey equipment. Our app is an end user slope calculator just as the name suggests.
  • Would be a five if it had a inch input on both measurements

I with you could input both feet and inches into both measurements, that would make this the perfect app. Overall still a good app.

    Developer Response

Something we are working on! Thanks for the feedback. As a surveyor, our imperial measuring system is the decimal (tenths)... Builders, like you, may prefer the resultant answer to be displayed in feet and inches...
