Took my money left me out in the cold

My house burned down I remembered that I had clc I fiqured I’d use them because I just lost everything in the fire went online set up my reservation confirmed everything boom 1300 charge hits my card well that’s weird website says bills you after your stay do t think anything of it drive an hour to the hotel they don’t take clc ok no problem set up another reservation now it’s the only hotel left showing on the app another 7 days boom hot me for 2,000 again get to that hotel they say nothing from clc so they check me in say we will handle it in the am 40 min later I’m in the shower front desk is banging on the door you need to leave immediately or I will have you removed frantic ask what’s going on the guy says clc said your account is fraudulent and your placed on a do not rent list um weird fiqured it had to be a mistake now grabbing all my stuff go down to the front eldest call clc they say oh we can’t tell you that over the phone you need to speak to another department for this I say can you transfer me nope of course not it’s 1145 on a Fri night and a holiday weekend and there closed till Tuesday so I find another hotel go in to check in boom card declined clc hit my card for almost 7k then shut me out in the cold I had to sleep in my car that night because there was nothing I could do

Terrible User Experience

My company forces us to use CLC and it has ruined business travel for me. The selection of hotels is extremely limited, the app is clunky, the check in process is slow and usually the hotel clerk is unfamiliar with how to do a CLC check in because it is so confusing. I have had “confirmed reservations” that do not exist when I arrive at the full hotel after midnight, numerous times the hotel has rooms but no CLC rooms, and the CLC agent suggests a much worse hotel sometimes an hour or more away. There is a large language barrier with the CLC agents, though most are friendly.

Not all hotels in your directory

I’ve been using this app for over 1 1/2 years and there are lots of hotels that accept CLC that are not in the directory. Also I was told we can book hotels from the clc app(this is also showing in the pics advertised in app search) and mine does not do that nor is there an app update showing.

Not what it was

Seems like with every update this app keeps getting worse. I used to be able to get a ton places to choose from and now it’s only a certain few nasty places that are not worth it. Also every time I open this app it tells my there’s an update available and it brings me back here and the update was already done. If I could give no stars I would because someone is definitely dropping the ball here.

Your app

I have been a clc member for 15 years or more. In the past you could search hotels with truck parking and were able to see the parking lots. But now your app doesn’t show much at all. One can’t even search the actual property the you want to stay at. And it won’t let you erase your search history. It’s time to upgrade or it’s time for customers to find alternate form of search sites. Basically you need to upgrade not down grade!!!!

I would love the see the option where we as users can give honest reviews and upload pictures. I have checked into places that at 8of10 and I checked out after going to the room. So the ratings are not correct.

Book through app

Would be outstanding if the app let you book/ reserve a stay. Otherwise, just needs to be updated / refreshed more often. Some hotels take CLC that are not on the app/ some on app do not accept CLC..

Little to no Marriott hotels

I booked Pittsburgh Marriott North on your app. I arrived and was turned away as soon as they saw the CLC card. It was like I was an outcast. They said they don’t accept CLC. Had to pay for it on my own. Your app is not accurate and it also keeps telling you to update however i already have the latest version.

Can’t view results in map mode .

Can’t get the maps to view !!!I
prefer to view in map mode versus a list.

Like to see results in maps so I can pick something close to we’re I need to go next
