  • Not syncing with watch correctly

When I start a feed of a sleep from my watch it doesn’t sync over to the phone version correctly. For example , It will still be counting from a previous nap which started 7 hours ago and since baby has gone to sleep which was logged from my phone but the watch will still show the nap started 7 hours ago and still counting. I haven’t figured out a way to get it to sync without stopping the nap on the watch which then over writes the data of the most recent sleep logged on the phone. So then I lose my data of when the sleep started or when that nap 7 hours ago ended. So currently I also have a feed on my watch which started 5 hours ago and is still running it I don’t want to adjust it as it will ruin the correct data on my phone.... I don’t know how to get my watch version to update. This happens sometimes on the watch but not always. I have restarted both devices multiple times but the watch still shows the wrong naps and feeds and is still counting.

  • Great easy for fatigue parents

Downloaded for free. Love this app. When ur so fatigue with a newborn it’s hard to remember last time u changed their nappy or which side they feed this app has all that u can enter. Reminders. Milestones. Easy to use.
  • Easy to use with baby brain!

As a new mum I was worried about how often I was feeding and changing my baby. Sprout app makes recording this so easy and the charts have helped me identify patterns and progress. Plus it’s reassuring to check if baby has been asleep how long ago he was fed or changed - it’s so easy to loose track. Added bonus that I’m able to record milestones and photos as well.

  • Apple Watch capabilities added bonus

I have loved using Sprout to track my baby’s feedings and was really sad to find it wasn’t compatible with the Apple Watch but now that they do have it, I love it even more. Honestly, I realized how much I appreciated this app after switching to Glow Baby in order to use it through my watch. Although it was super helpful to have a tracker on my watch, the app itself is not very user friendly. Especially a bleary eyed mom who is always lacking in the sleep department. Now if only they could add a little marker (on the Apple Watch) to indicate which side you nursed on for the previous feed...❤️

  • Buggy

I’ve been using this app since the beginning of February to track my son’s feedings and diaper changes. He has weight gain/transfer issues so both of these things are important. This app has worked great to track feedings/pumping, but the diaper changes are constantly disappearing. At first it was a few here and there, but it keeps getting worse. Just now I went to log a diaper change, and all of the changes in the last 24 hrs are gone. Then the changes before 3 am yesterday are gone. So if his dr asks me when my son’s last bm was, I’d have to rely on my sleep deprived memory, despite diligently logging every change because that data has been deleted by the app.
I’ve been happy with every other feature, but had I known the diaper feature was shoddy I would have used something else.

  • Great App From Day 1

For our third child, we wanted a way to monitor feedings and diaper changes to ensure our child is staying on track. Sprout does this and much more.

One helpful feature is that the app syncs between multiple phones. This is great for when I come home from work and jump right into parenting and supporting my wife (who is probably trying to get the other two to eat, pick up toys, get ready for bed, etc). If the baby is restless or crying, I can quickly see when she was last feed and changed, making it easy for any parent to pick up where the other left off.

If you are looking for these features, based on the apps available in early 2019, this app is definitely worth the price.

  • I love all of the data and syncing with another user!

I love this app! It is a data junkie’s dream. I can see charts, stats, graphs, and details about my baby’s feedings, diapers, sleep, and more. I jot down questions for the pediatrician so I don’t forget. The best part is that my husband also uses the app. Only 1 person has to purchase it. When we swap baby duty we can see what the other person did and when. If I need a nap he can see it’s because baby woke up 4 times overnight, etc.

My only mild annoyance is the feeding time tracker. I don’t particularly care how long it takes my baby to eat so I simply “end” the feeding right after I hit start. At the end of a feed I’m usually trying to put baby to sleep so clicking end on my phone is the last thing I’m thinking about. If I leave the feeding time as 1 sec it barely shows up on the chart. Therefore, I have to go in and adjust it to 10 or 15 minutes. I wish there was a default feeding time that could be adjusted for those of us who don’t really want to track it.

A weird bug I’ve noticed is that the feeding tracker monthly amount trend graph is showing breastmilk amounts. We only use formula so I’m not sure why that is happening. The other types of charts and stats don’t have that bug.

  • Update 4.9

I really like this app but the new update is kind of a bummer. I love that I can see data for longer periods of time but displaying data by calendar week, month, and year instead of by the last seven days, the last month, or the last year, makes it more difficult for me to see patterns in my child’s behavior. Especially when I’m at the beginning of a week or month and everything is blank except for that. It’s really a let down because the whole point for me in tracking everything is to see the patterns so I can make informed decisions about the timing of my child’s day.

Another minor thing that has always bugged me is that because sleep is tracked in orange and feedings are tracked in pink on the tools page, it is actually pretty difficult to tell them apart visually. It would be better if colors that had higher contrast to one another were used instead so it were easier to visually distinguish between the two without straining.

  • This app is great and simple to use

I looked through most of the baby apps and came across Sprout. I really needed an app that would allow me to keep track of my baby’s feedings and diapers especially because she is a preemie. I love the fact that I can give her pediatrician a report too. This is my husbands first baby and I also made him download the app. I believe it is helpful because you can see the different patterns in chart form and this is one thing less we have to remember to do.

One thing I wish this app could do is synch my husbands information with mine for when we are each taking a shift with our baby. This would be very helpful to us and for reporting to her doctor. Other than that I love the app so far!

  • The perfect child app.

This app is fantastic for keeping track of your newborn baby’s feeds, sleeps and nappies.

The wife and I share a profile and when either of us make an entry it will update all the devices. This means that we have one repo of all our babies habits.

Worth £7.99! (That covers all your devices!)
