  • Superb - sanity and reassurance in an app

This app is great - it it slick, easy to use and the sharing of timers / data works seamlessly.

When the midwife asks how many wet nappies you’ve had in the last 24 hours, and it’s 0800 after a long night; you can either stare blankly at each other and guess - or open Sprout and reassure yourselves and the midwife that you know exactly.

Developers: Google Home/ Alexa integration? Hands free would make this even more useful. But we are very happy customers

  • Not intuitive. Data/graphing are insufficient

    Decent tracker.
Buttons and labels are sometimes misleading or confusing. Like the button that says “asleep” while the baby is awake and vice versa.
I began using this to try and track what is giving my 13mo baby a diaper rash. Since he eats a wide variety of real table food it would be nice if I didn’t have to track each type of food at a meal separately.
In order to be truly helpful, the app would allow me to see the patterns of when my boy gets diaper rash overlaid with the foods he has eaten. Then I might be able to spot - he gets a diaper rash x hours each time after eating food y. I know there is a field for reaction to food. That only helps with reactions apparent immediately. Also, entering a symptom within the health tracking feature is a clunky experience.

  • You NEED this!

My little one is now three months old and I stumbled upon this app (ran out of my paper/hand written track) and I am totally in love with this app! I’m never one for writing a review but had to for this. It has everything you need and more l! I use it for sleeps, feeds and nappies as my little girl has had issues with all three due to reflux, teething, jaundice, lack of milk, sore tummy etc so it’s been great to figure out patterns and establish a routine. I also love the added touch where you can easily add a pic and create a memory and share it and anything with whoever you wish. Thank you for establishing an app that’s easy to use and functional on all levels 😁

  • Favourite baby app. Perfect for newborns

I love this app for my newborn. It does everything I want from tracking growth, feeds, keeping notes of any medical issues for the health visitor. I can even post a new photo everyday of my bundle of joy.

I’d recommend this app to all new parents. The free version is good enough. Great app!
  • Just what a needed

This app is very user friendly. I’ve tried the other baby trackers and they require too many steps to track your data. The ease of this app ensures your data can be tracked in-vivid even while caring for a newborn which ensures the accuracy of your data. App also allows you to edit any entries which is nice since I’ve been guilty of falling asleep while breastfeeding 😊. Only improvements I’d like to see is being able to change graphs color schemes, possibility to rotate x and y axis and ability to tap each data point to see summary of time. It’s a little more difficult to read the graphs on my iPhone 6 but works great on the iPad. Thanks for such a great app!

  • Too Cumbersome to record feedings, changes, etc.

This app would be great if not for the clunky and tedious data entry. To add a simple bottle feed in ounces you must do many actions to input the data. Changing is also on a separate screen, as with sleep.
As a new parent who has a baby in hand, this input should be as quick and simple as possible. These three things parents need to input over and over, the entry should be on one screen, also visible and able to input on the first screen. More detailed info and methods to input should be in the tools section. It’s a shame because when on the trial, the app had great little tips and info I thought were great. I was considering upgrading...But for the daily use of inputting these everyday events is too much of a hassle.
For reference, checkout how simple and easy it is with the app Glow Baby.

  • Great App - Needs a few features

I started using this app as a way to keep track of sleeping and eating patterns so I could be more informed about my infant - especially since he has terrible reflux. I appreciated that this app is a one-stop record for growth, development, and many other areas worth monitoring on your child. There are two things I wish this app DID include - (1) a way to permanently store a medication that an infant takes so you didn’t have to enter it in manually each time you administer it (2) a Widget feature that could appear on the iOS swipe screen so that the sleep/feeding/medication/etc. could be viewed “at a glance” instead of having to access the app each time.
Overall, I am pleased with my trial run and will be purchasing the app to use as a digit record book. 👍

  • Data could be better

For months, my son didn't have a lot of predictability with his naps, so I purchased this app to help track them and get a better idea of his schedule. I have to say, tracking REALLY helps! I love the ability to input events as they happen, including feeding, pumping, and diapers. However, this app's data charts aren't well-designed. The icon shows a plotted chart, but they only offer bar graphs (no plot points), and the time schedule is on the bottom of the graph (where your current day is at the top—very hard to read, especially in the middle of the night). For the price, I would've appreciated more data features, like for the overview, seeing data over a selected period of time, instead of only the past 7 days or 1 month. Would I purchase this again for that price? Probably not. Maybe for a lower cost. But I gave it 3 stars since I do use it ALL the time... Just wish it was better.

  • Almost perfect breastfeeding tracker!

I’ve tried several apps now to track breastfeeding and this is by far my favorite. This is my third baby, so I was looking for something simple, but nothing was quite cutting it. Although this has a lot of extra features, it still makes it very easy if you are primarily using it for tracking- mainly you don’t have to click through multiple things to get to the tracking page as long as you don’t completely shut the app down. I love how simple it is to log both breasts in a single feeding and it shows how long it’s been since your last feeding (for some reason a lot of other apps don’t do this!). It would be perfect if it did two things: 1- showed breast you started on versus ended on (I need to start on the opposite side I did as the last time, and if I only fed him on one side the last feeding the check mark doesn’t help me remember this), and 2- if you had a widget that showed side started on, how long since the last feeding, and ideally allowed me to start/stop a feeding right there from my home screen!

  • Would lose my head without this app

We started using this app to track feedings and diaper changes while in the hospital because the days and times started to blur together. Love that you can start a timer for feedings, track which side you’re feeding on, and it tells you how long it’s been since the last feeding so you don’t have to constantly be setting timers if trying to stay on schedule for feeding every 2-3 hours. The overview features are great to get a glance of how regular (or irregular) feedings and diaper changes have been, and I’m able to see at a glance if I’ve been favoring one side for the day with the total time per side. I also added myself as a “baby” to be able to track what medicine I’m taking and when because it got to be too much. Highly recommend.
