  • Fantastic app and great user support

I’ve been using this and it’s predecessor Set List Maker for a few years now. This app is awesome and addresses most needs for performing musicians. The support is the best I have gotten from any IOS app. Well worth the money. Not only organizes songs and set lists, but handles your midi program changes for multiple instruments, management of backing tracks, auto scrolling of lyrics, scheduling of practices and gigs. Every band member can access the repository of set lists and songs, and everyone can have their own version of notes and lyrics for a song. Arlo hit one out of the park on this one.

  • Another subscription service

Another chance to have money sucked out of your bank account every month for an app that could just as well be implemented in iCloud and be a one-time purchase. Thanks, but no thanks. Subscription apps are like little vampires.
  • Very hard to use

I’ve had this program for well over a month and have spent hours trying to get it to work with my band. I have used the tutorials numerous times with the same results. This program is not user friendly at all. You have to start with a desktop or laptop computer then it crosses over to your iPad. Many times our band will want to add a song to the set list right before the venues and guess what...I don’t have my laptop or do t have enough service in the venue for it to cross over. This is not something that you can do quickly and get back to the real world of jobs, kids, etc. It takes a lot of time and I’ll just stick to the binders and paper if this is the only option I have. Trying a different app...

You do have to create your account and add users through the web interface, but you can edit songs, set lists and other data from either the website or the mobile apps.
  • Just now downloaded

Just downloaded, opened... says I need an account, no links or info on how to create one... so...?
  • Great App

If you’re in a band at any level this is a terrific app. Also some of the best support ever. I highly recommend this app!!!
  • What the?

I don’t want to open an account somewhere to use an app, it doesn’t state that anywhere on the Apple store! How annoying!
  • Files hard to find

Been using this app for a long time but with this latest update, there is an extra step to locate an uploaded pdf file. Instead of clicking on a song and the file shows up, now you have to navigate through the menu to find the pdf. Complicated when calling songs on the fly. Please fix!

It sounds like you're using the editing area of the app while performing. The smart lists are much better for that situation: http://www.bandhelper.com/tutorials/building_smart_lists.html
  • Left me hanging too many times

My band has been using this app for at least a year. On more than 10 occasions, after syncing MULTIPLE times, the set lists we made for shows were not syncing correctly and thus, I’m left on stage with the wrong set list. I tried to address this with tech support, but, they were unable to solve my problem. So, I’m done with it, deleted it, never again.

  • Best app available for set list management

I really like the app so far and the fact that the data is stored in the cloud. I just jam with a couple of friends and don't have a band as of yet, but it has been extremely helpful in guiding our jam sessions when we get together. I've used OnSong and Tabs HD in the past to keep track of set lists, but the inability to easily share the songs you are working on with others was frustrating. I also like that you can create and manage songs and set lists from a computer and everything syncs with the app. It is the most intuitive app I have come across to date.

  • Great App, great support, love it...

After carrying around binders of music for years in our 5 piece band, I decided last year to try a digital approach. My band mates were afraid at first and two of them continued to use binders. After a few months of seeing how easy and convenient my setup was (and realize how nice it is to have back lit music in a dark bar) they made the switch and we have not looked back. I am continually learning how to do new things with this app that push me further into automation (which, as a control freak guitarist scares me, but also allows me to focus on performing and less on nonsense). I should have made the switch years ago and I very much so appreciate this app. There is a yearly subscription fee to use the app, but once you realize you can bring a guitar and all the music you have ever learned in one guitar bag, you won’t mind. Plus, the developer is making constant improvements so I think of it more as an investment than a fee. Don’t listen to the negative comments. There is a little learning curve, as with anything, but invest the time off stage so that you can focus on the music on stage.
