Great gospel centered start to the day devotional.
The devotional is great. A recent update where you can favorite certain days makes it easy to go back and reread some of the devotionals. One weird thing though is that if you turn on the notification to remind you to read each day, it only notifies you on the days you've already read! On days you forget, no notification. I think if its not an active app it can't notify you, so that bug needs to be fixed. Otherwise it's great.Show lesssarahcollier

Really superb app that gets out of the way just like everything Apple!
One very annoying flaw is if you accidentally move your thumb to the left or right when trying to scroll down it goes to the next days reading.. Not so bad right? Swipe back to your reading and it puts you at the top again! Highly unnecessary feature where the disadvantage outweighs the advantage..Show lessTrickydan
Piper always great: App visually lacking
I'd love to give this app 5 stars because I love Piper. However, it is so visually boring, it's almost embarrassing. I was looking for a solid devotional to pass along to a young man who I knew would benefit from Piper, but this app has absolutely no visual appeal so I'm not sure he'd give it much regard. The font is so thin that even enlarging it doesn't help much. Please enhance this app. We are called to excellence in everything - including, I think, how we present the Word and its teaching.Show lessETxn

One of my favorite apps.
Really great. Keeps God's word with me whereever I go. Love all the authors in this app. A blessed ministry that I pray God may continue to bless. You will definitely love. It will be a light to your day.

I'm getting the content now, yay! I have really been enjoying the snippets from the books. My only small critique is that some content, for someone that hasn't read the book, is difficult to understand what Dr Piper is saying.little1fish
