Great daily devotional app
This is such a great daily devotional. John Piper always brings each writing full circle with grace, which is often lost in Devotionals that tend to focus on how to achieve instead of how to rest in the promises of God and His grace through Christ. I love this app! As a bust stay at home mom to 2 under 3, this is often the only reading of the Word I do in a day but it never disappoints. It points me to the gospel of Christ each time I read it. My husband has the app too had we try to both read it during the day and discuss it at night. It's easy to access, scroll through, and the daily reminders are so helpful too! It's also pleasing to the eye. Great app, all around!Show lessArhodes728

I'd give 5/5 for contents alone, but UI and bugs tell me that dev could have done a better job..
1. Scripture index and favorite title texts are white and invisible (you can briefly see it when you touch.. So its there for sure)
2. No low-light mode... Hard to read sometimes in the dark... I don't understand why dev has not done this as it was in the previous versions..Show lessDy153

Latest update (Oct. 21) broke the app!
I love this app. So many of them have been ridiculously timely in moments when I need to hear something. For example, when I was moving across the country to Alaska to pursue Christ. I spent the night in yellowstone national park and it was cold and thunderstorming. My tent and sleeping bag were soaking wet and lightning was raging all night. I questioned whether or not I had made the right decision to move, and if this was The Lord telling me to go back home. I woke up to the devotional called "worship in a lightning storm" and realized that no matter what, if my heart is set on Christ, it doesn't matter where I'm at my God will be with me. In the middle of the storm, or in any corner of this planet. Our God is with us.
