Does not work
Disappointed that Hunter Douglas has abandoned its customers that have paid thousands of dollars for blinds. The app no longer works with my shades and they have discontinued this line. Please update the app! The bridge blinks red and green looking to pair with the app and nothing happens.
Fixed some issues
I’m glad the Platinum App has been updated. It was previously losing the Wi-Fi connection. This was a big issue as the shades would not follow the schedule which could not be fixed until I returned from a vacation. Please keep supporting this App.
Finally updated
Imagine my surprise when I opened the app yesterday to discover that it just...worked. No flipping back and forth between screens, no ritualized quit, reopen, quit, reopen cycle...the app just performed the one, singular function it was designed to do, without angst or drama. Obviously I went to check the version history, and lo and behold - the first update in 2 years.
Kudos to whoever fought to get this piece of garbage app actually updated - it’s obviously not a priority of Hunter Douglas’, so to whoever finally fixed it, and whoever made that happen? Your work is vastly appreciated, and you deserve 5 stars. Thank you, mysterious dev team.
THAT SAID, “working” is a low, low bar to clear, and Hunter Douglas has completely abandoned a big segment of their user base. A big company should be able to do much better than one update in two years, which means that you saw the one-star ratings and complaints, and just chose to let this one ride for two years. Can’t wait to eventually escape your ecosystem, but in the meantime, I’ll just keep making sure nobody else I know buys in.

Betrayed
App is terrible. Stopped supporting it when they came out with a new system. Shame on them.
Help us
This app desperately needs an update to improve connectivity, layout, and bugs. If they could somehow fix ghost programs that cause my blinds to randomly go up at 3 o'clock in the morning, that would be a bonus.
Nearly useless.
Pro: Via a kludgey interface you can set presets that will occur at specific times on specific days.
Con: However, even though I have top-down blinds, there's no way to schedule the tops to come down, only the bottoms to go up. For my east-facing bedroom windows, this means that I have wake up with the sun in my eyes instead of on the roof.
Con: Further, if you don't open the app via your phone about once a week—which helps synchronize the time—the timer drifts quickly enough that you can't use the blinds as an accurate alarm clock. Within a couple weeks the blinds will be opening 15+ minutes too late.
Confusing interface includes a "Test Repeater" button that does nothing when pressed, and a "Recalculate Sunrise/Sunset" button that asks for your lat/long...and also appears to do nothing.
It's an application that's justifiable if you were a first-time app developer. It's unacceptably poor quality for a company like Hunter-Douglas.

App now loses memory
My app worked fine for years. Now when I open the app it loses the memory for my settings. I have thousands invested in this system and they don't work.
Terrible
Agree completely with E.R.R. Bought this product a few months before PowerView was realeased and left high and dry. This is an almost useless product – the dumbest smart home product at home. Will never buy hunter Douglas again.
Works, but...
This app does the job, but God, it's ugly. Not only is it ugly, the interface is terrible - every time I use it, it takes me ages to work out to link up the scenes and rooms and timers and so on. Absolutely dreadful.
Apple watch
Great app overall and thanks for the hard work on the updates.
But I've just learned you dumped ALL Powerise customers forever to create a separate, non-compatible platform? WITH the Apple Watch I've been asking for for a year?
I spent thousands of dollars on this system, to be abandoned? Give us an Apple Watch app at least, please!!!
