RailAir sold us a ticket at 9:04am for a 9:21 service that was cancelled with no notice. We were left waiting in a parking lot.HawaiiF
Not a great service
I am a frequent user of the bus. The bus drivers are more often than not brilliant.
The problem that ruins it is the app.
Every update it has received has made the quality worse.
-All of the functions have become less accessible and harder to navigate.
-The journey planner doesn’t function properly, as you can’t change the date for the day or time you need to plan for, making it useless. There are physical and digital copies of the timetable too, but they are incredibly hard to read and understand, so you may end up missing your bus or arriving far to early for it, wasting your time.
-There is no guarantee the bus will be running, and you will not be notified when it is not running. They expect you to wait for the next hourly bus to run. They may also cancel your journey half way through, leaving you stuck waiting for possibly several hours for the next bus that is running.
-The bus tracker - arguably one of the most important features of the app - often doesn’t work or experiences glitches, saying the bus is at a stop that it has left ages ago, so you can’t track it.
There’s a multitude of issues, but the company doesn’t bother to fix them because they are the most accessible service around. Most people can’t afford to be paying 10-50 pounds for the train or a better bus service, taxi, etc, so they take advantage of it. Mostly works well
Mostly works well for planning journeys and estimating time of travel. Saving bus stops in the app works well for me.NZ-Aly
Difficult to find bus routes
Not useful to see dozens of same bus icons on the map not knowing which is what bus and its line. Totally useless for me to use as a tourist.ScaredofCorbets
Super disappointed visiting from the US
Traveling with kids from the US. Downloaded the app to purchase our bus passes, but the app doesn’t accept international phone numbers. Registered on the website (which DOES take international phone numbers), but then the app says my login credentials are not recognized. Tried to download and reinstall the app, but continue to have the issue. Not very visitor friendly.Show lessMr. boiiiiiiiiii

This App used to be much easier to use
Meh, it’s easy to dismiss. People don’t like change. But very much so this app used to be much better. I have been using it for many years, but sadly there are just too many problems. I search for my local bus via the main Plan menu opt, I pick where I’d like to travel between and to make life easier I press the handy save option so I can check times in the future. However when I look at this saved route the bus it has saved is nowhere near to where I live, so it’s not clear why it did what it did.
Previously when planning a route, I could select my starting bus-stop and see times of arrivals. It used to be that if I selected my destination (well where I planned to get off) that stop was shown and I could plan my onward route. (Sadly this either no longer works or isn’t available) my local buses actively promote tap on and off as it’s preferred payment method. The tickets sales function seems redundant for my area.
Lastly when planning a journey. I most often have to specify my starting location, which is not helpful when the planner asks me to change to another bus on route to my destination ( when that other bus service stop was within the configurable distance to walk to a stop)Show less🎶 MB
