Great Coaching Tool
I love this app because I play hockey and I want to learn more about how I can do better in games. Every time I’m going to practice or game I whip out my phone and watch some skating and shooting videos. It really helps me visualize what I’m going to do while I’m practicing. I really recommend this app for beginners or people who want to get better at hockey, it’s a great online coach and it helps a lot!!!!Show lessCat Murphy
Good Overall
Very useful, and much easier to use than when it first came out. The stat tracking is great to have and fairly simple. It isn’t all that easy to track multiple players at once, or for instance do whole line stats at the same time. I like that they let you track shot areas in addition to traffic/no traffic- I haven’t noticed if it does that offensively as well but I don’t think so. Having separate tracking for practices and games is great as well.
The main thing I’ve found that could use an update is when you “add to favorites”- it would be useful if it allowed you to create folders that you could save to. That way when you want specific things, they are easier to find. We are running a stick handling/shooting clinic separate from our team practice early in the year, so being able to add them to multiple folders would be useful. I know you can add them to practice plan already, but there are some things I only want to attach as reminders to myself.Show lessBrewJ92
Works ok for what I need it for
Love the concept of this app, and have been using it since last season. However, there is a big glitch in the stat tracking that is driving me bonkers. I have two goalies on my team, and track each games save stats. Only about 1 in 3 games will track records on a new record for that days player. The other two thirds look like they will track fine until you enter data, but nothing increases. The data is instead aggravating on another entry.
I love the coaching tools, practice plans, and quick access to drill videos, but I would really love this app if the stats tracking issue could be resolved.Show lesswhaler12345678
Great Concept, Poor Execution
There are some great drills and ideas with this app. Honestly, I don’t even think it is missing anything once it works how it looks like it should. Unfortunately, it does not work as it should. I have saved about seven drills from my white board, but none of it works in the plan builder. Multiple crashes when trying to put together the practice plan.
Oddly enough, I don’t think there has been an update to this app for a bit, yet options that worked a month ago, don’t work now. It’s frustrating to put so much time into building plans and creating drills to have the app crash and not save the work.
