Most useful hockey app ever!
This app is PHENOMENAL! Resources are all from world leading experts - not just people trying to make a buck.
The age specific practice plans are unreal...on-ice skills videos are best assortment of individual skills, including goaltending, ever (w Doc Emerick's voice over)...and the the off-ice training videos are phenomenal! And these can all be emailed to individual players, your team or other coaches.
Includes tons of other resources such as body checking materials, white board, etc that are great, too!Show less4boyswithglasses
Good for now
I like the practice plans and video. The iPad version could use more offline support. Also, I would like to see hyperlinks in the manuals. Each page takes about a minute to load and I can't skip to a page. I like always having a rule book though!Kmhmak
It is a start
Nice idea, videos play to fast to read and the font on the rest of the app is hard to read. Using this on the iPad is almost impossible. Every section is sorted alphabetical not step by step. Very slow to load, practice plans, etc. looks like they didn't compress the PDF pages before they loaded them to the app.

Great app missing one important feature
This thing brings all this great data to your iPad, but it's missing a print button. We wanted to print out the mite practice plan tonight, but I had to go to the website to get it. Add that button and I'll give it five stars.wfcook
Great App
Had no problems loading and running this app. Got my Registration Confirmation # from the email USA Hockey sent me earlier this season and had no problem creating a mobile account.
I like the access to practice plans, skill drills and videos. Not sure I will use the whiteboard but it works well.ABC Faculty Staff
Login doesn't work, no response from support
I have twice now created a mobile account without error. I right down the info and this last time I took screen shots with the camera. Still it ALWAYS says bad user name.
Twice I have emailed support via the contact support link, no response. I give up. Looks like I am not the only one. I put in all correct info including my current USA hockey registration.

Not worth it
Sometimes things just aren't worth the hassle. This app is one of those things. I'm computer literate but after 45 minutes of changing passwords and creating accounts I finally get this app loaded only to be told that I can't log in because USAHockey didn't actually put in the account name and password I entered but a modified version they felt was better. There are much better, much easier to access apps on the iTunes store that do as much and more. Not worth the hassles. Even to poast this review I have to try to think up a unique Nickname! Great start
This app is a great start. A lot of good reference material to be accessed on the go. I suggest adding "hyperlinks" to the table of contents of the larger documents (playing rules for example) so you can easily jump to the information you want to look at. All you people rating one star, did you fail to notice the huge red button on the start up page? You have to be a U.S.A. Hockey member to access this app. The app works fine, and there is a lot of useful information, tips, and instructional videos in it. If you are a member, I would recommend this app. Everything is well organized and looks and runs great IF you follow the instructions at start up page.Show lessDoc1214
Good app, good organization
Just downloaded, registered, and installed the app--no problems whatsoever. I can't wait to use it at the rink. What a great resource! I really like the desktop site that links with the app and lets you sit down and plan your practices so that you don't have to do all of that on the small screen (but I do hope there's an iPad version on the way also). Best of all, its free to USA Hockey members. Thanks, USA Hockey!
Update: Still loving this app, and it looks like they're already making updates. I'm sorry for those of you who can't operate a phone, but slamming the app isn't very helpful. I hope you don't have this much trouble tying your skates.Show lessjustacoach
